1、 新課標英語高二下Module 7 Unit 1 Living well Reading教案 教學目標 1. 知識目標 a. 掌握以下重點詞匯和短語 ambition, disability, fellow, independent, beneficial, encouragement, in other words, all in all, out of breath, make fun of. b. 理解和運用以下重點句型 1. I have to adapt to my disability. 2. Just accept them for whom they are

2、 and give them encouragement to live as rich and full a life as you do. 2. 能力目標 a. 通過對段落結構的分析，使學生掌握scanning的閱讀技巧。要提高他們的閱讀速度和快速尋找信息的能力，培養(yǎng)他們分析和概括能力。 b. 讓學生理解殘疾人及其生活情況，使學生明白身體有殘疾并不意味著生活不如意，但 他們在日常生活和工作中比健全人面臨著更大的挑戰(zhàn)。 3．情感目標 a. 結合個人經歷，充分體驗殘疾人的感受，提高學生理解、尊重、關心和幫助殘疾人意識。加強合作意識、陶冶情操，培養(yǎng)正確的審美觀和價值觀。 b. 在師

3、生互動的活動中，加強教師的親和力，增進彼此的了解與溝通，充分發(fā)揮情感教學的優(yōu)勢 教學重點與難點 1．教學重點： 理解殘疾人身殘志堅，以積極的態(tài)度快樂生活的故事，提高學生理解、尊重和關心他人的意識。 2．教學難點： 幫助學生理解殘疾人所面臨的種種困難，增強學生的同情心與愛心，引導他們珍惜時間，珍惜生活。 教學方法 1．任務型教學法 本課選擇任務型教學，如要求學生課前預習閱讀文章，課堂進行小組討論，填寫信息表及概括段落大意等，培養(yǎng)和強化學生的語言實踐能力和自主學習能力。 2．多媒體輔助教學法 利用多媒體展示相關圖片及播放影片，激發(fā)學生學習興趣，提高課堂教學效率。 課前準備

4、布置預習任務，要求學生以學習小組為單位在課前通過查閱書籍和英特網等收集殘疾人及其生活、學習和工作等的故事。 教學過程 Step1．Leading in（導入） 從提問入手引出殘疾人的話題，通過觀看影片和猜測游戲讓學生了解這些殘疾人的頑強意志及其取得的輝煌成就。 1）Ask students a questions Do you know her name? What’s her disability? What’s she famous for? Play a video for students to watch. (同時播放《千手觀音》片斷) 2）A guessing

5、game Who are they? What are their disabilities? What’s their achievements? Show the pictures of Edison, Stephen Hawking, Beethoven, Hellen Keller and Zhang Haidi. Step2. Warming up(讀前熱身) 讓學生將書本上的四幅圖對應的人物與其取得的成就進行配對。讓他們了解殘疾的種類，簡短地討論各種殘疾給人們的生活帶來的種種不便。盡管如此，仍然有許多殘疾人在不同領域取得了非凡成就，為本單元的Reading部分精彩故事做

7、a 4. passed the university entrance exam; will train to be a teacher. Step3. Pre-reading（閱讀前） 通過介紹“Family village”，讓學生說出這一網站的目的，重點在于該網站不僅對殘疾人大有幫助，而且對健全人也同樣有所裨益。以激發(fā)學生的閱讀興趣。 1. To give ordinary young people with a disability the chance to tell their personal stories. 2. Other disabled pe

8、ople also find the website beneficial. 3. The website is also a way for non-disabled people to understand more about how challenging life can be for people with disabilities. Step4 . Reading（閱讀） 1．Scanning（略讀） 讓學生通過略讀填寫下面信息表，以幫助學生了解Marty的疾病給生活帶來的困難和他如何克服這些困難并取得成就的；并掌握scanning的閱讀技巧，提高他們的閱讀速度和快速尋
