設計思想:
英語新課程標準倡導任務型的教學模式,讓學生在教師的指導下,通過感知,體驗。實踐,參與和合作等方式,實現(xiàn)任務的目標,感受成功。在學習過程中進行情感和策略調整,以形成積極的學習態(tài)度,促進語言實際運用能力的提高。這就要求教師能根據學習內容設計相應的活動,讓學生在體驗中掌握語言知識,學會運用語言,培養(yǎng)各種技能。本課時的中心話題是“急救”,
2、包括急救的重要性,急救的基本常識以及急救的具體步驟(DR ABC)。由于所學內容接近生活,實用性和操作性強,因此在教學過程中創(chuàng)設實際教學情景,布置任務,讓學生在理解文章內容的基礎上,針對生活中常見的各種緊急情況, 運用所學知識實施緊急救護。 通過實踐和參與, 掌握本課時的語言技能,語言知識,培養(yǎng)學生處理緊急事件的應變能力和操作能力,實現(xiàn)英語新課程的教學目標。
教學內容分析:
本課時的中心話題是意外情況下的急救知識。具體涉及關于急救的重要性,急救的基本常識以及急救的具體步驟(DR ABC)。 通過本課時的教學,讓學生了解有關急救的常識,能在對文章理解的基礎上,用較為流利的英語表達在生活中
3、如何處理一些突發(fā)事件,學會在實際情況中實施正確的緊急救護等
教學內容分為四個部分。
1. “讀前”(Pre-reading)部分先以四幅圖片來導入新課,讓學生針對這些圖片思考一些問題,你會怎么辦?該怎么辦?
2. “閱讀”(Reading)部分是一篇介紹急救的文章,標題是DR ABC, 具體介紹急救的重要性,如何進行急救,急救時注意DR ABC:D代表Danger(危險);R代表response(反應);A代表Airway(呼吸道);B代表Breathing(呼吸);C代表Circulation(血液循環(huán)),以及如何進一步急救等一些急救基本常識和步驟,使學生理解急救對病人的重要性及基本
4、的急救知識,以便他們運用于生活實際。
3. “讀后”(Post-reading)分三個任務。
Task 1.True or False 加強對文章內容的理解;
Task 2. Describe pictures 加強語言知識的運用;
Task 3.Discussion 鞏固所學知識,培養(yǎng)實際操作技能;
4. “活動”(Activity) 部分是開展一個競賽“A First Aid Quiz”,并給予勝利者獎勵,擴充范圍,更多的學習急救知識。
教學目標:
根據《普通高中英語新課程標準》(實驗稿)關于總目表的定位及其實現(xiàn)途徑和目標具體描述,結合高二學生實際和教材內容,我把本課時

1.語言知識
1)掌握、理解、運用以下生詞及詞組:witness、panic、roll over、deal with、keep in mind、manage、manage to等
2)正確復述急救步驟(DR ABC)
2.語言技能:
讀:能理解課文內容和課文結構,在閱讀中運用scanning, skimming, generalization, inference等具體細節(jié)的讀寫策略和技能。
說:能在對文章理解的基礎上,用較為流利的英語表達在生活中如何處理一些突發(fā)事件,學會在實際情況中實施正確的緊急救護等

學生能在一定程度上形成自主學習、有效交

4.情感策略
讓學生了解急救的重要性和常用方法,能準確的運用于實際生活, 增強學生幫助他人,拯救生命的意識;體驗用英語交流的成功與喜悅,以及培養(yǎng)合作精神、互助精神。
教學方法:
教師安排學生快讀和查讀,理解課文含義;通過閱讀, 小組討論,提問,口語練習,復述,實際運用等掌握急救步驟。

制作課件、準備topic cards、預備獎賞(糖果)、錄音機
