Ⅰ. Warming-up activities :
1. Greetings and free talk.

Ⅱ. Presentation :
1. Draw a boy and a girl on the Bb. Get Ss to describe them and p
4、resent the words in Activityla.
2. Tell Ss to write down the words on a piece of paper and match each word with the opposite. Check the answers and read the words.
3. Compare some Ss to present the comparative degree of adjectives.
Ⅲ. Oral practice :
1. Show the picture of Tom and Sam. Present “
5、the twins” and the conversation. Then practice the conversation.
2. Show another two pictures. Help Ss to descn’be and compare the twins.
Ⅳ. Listening practice :
1. Listen and number the pictures [1-3]. Check the answers.
2. Listen and find out the two girls’ names. Put them on the picture.

Ⅴ. Pairwork :
1. Two Ss read the model conversation.
2. The teacher makes one or two conversations with Ss.

說課稿(Unit 6,Go for it!)
一、教學內(nèi)容分析:
本單元的中心話題是談論個性特征(talk about personal traits)和比較他人(compare people)。這是一個非常符合八年級學生心理特點的話題。在這節(jié)課中,同學們第一次接觸形容詞的比較級(the comparative degree of adjectives),
13、并運用這些詞進行聽、說、讀、演、寫等各項練習,教材對相關對話的設計及聽力語言材料的選編無不緊扣比較(comparison)這個中心。
二、教學過程設計:
溫故而知新。熱身環(huán)節(jié)(Warming-up activity)根據(jù)學生對老師的情況很好奇的心理特點,設計了師生之間互問問題從而達到增進了解的目的,并且做到師生平等,形成和諧的課堂氣氛,讓學生敢說、愿說。作為“熱身”的另外一部分,一個同學間互作自我介紹的游戲,激發(fā)了學生的興趣和熱情。同時,通過聽、看、說的充分練習,復習了身高、體形、長相等方面的單詞,為下一步描述圖畫作鋪墊。
呈現(xiàn)(Presentation)新知識前,在
14、黑板上畫兩個簡筆畫,既簡單又形象,然后引導學生進行對比描述,呈現(xiàn)反義詞。在學生將反義詞搭配好之后,進行下一輪的對比描述——描述班上的同學,呈現(xiàn)形容詞比較級。通過觀察、跟讀了解這些詞的音、形、義。
口語部分(Oral practice)是為了進一步鞏固剛學習的形容詞比較級。通過有趣的三對雙胞胎對比,讓比較級在情景中得到合理有效地運用。并在不經(jīng)意中將書上對話自然地呈現(xiàn)出來,作為口語練習的例子。學生從模仿到創(chuàng)造的這種口語訓練,為下面的聽力打下堅實的基礎。
聽力部分(Listening practice)做到循序漸進,先聽順序,再聽名字,最后聽意思。此部分不再是聽簡單的單詞發(fā)音,更重要的是
15、聽有意義的對話。學生通過看圖、聽音、跟讀、分角色朗讀形成語感。
結對練習(Pairwork)主要是將所學知識在實際情景中表現(xiàn)出來。在說之前,老師做好了示范,學生做好了準備,然后兩人一組表演出來。
鞏固部分(Conclusion)設計了一個合作任務:學生四人一組相互討論,寫出雙胞胎的不同點,每小組選一個代表作匯報。通過這樣的活動,學生學會相互合作,并獲得成就感與集體榮譽感。
整個教學過程力求做到環(huán)環(huán)相扣,對學生的聽、說、讀、寫進行綜合訓練,培養(yǎng)學生運用英語表達思想,進行實際的能力。
