Step 1. Warm-up
1 .Teacher creates a context of the ugly duck, and show another picture, then ask students to count how many ducks are there.
T: Do you know this duck? Yeah, it s ugly duck’ and he had no friends. But some other ducks say they are their friends. So can you count the n

2 . Teacher ask students to look at a picture and ask them what numbers can they see on it

1. Teacher show the numbers from 0 to 9. And play the tape it.
2. Play games: Teacher show a sun and ask students to say

Step 3. Listening
1. Ask students to listen to the conversation in 1b and write down the telephone num

2. Teacher plays the tape several times and then ask students to practice the conversations with their partner:

Then ask several pairs of students to demonstrate their conversations to the whole class.
3. Ask students to look at 1d then play the tape
9、and ask students to match the names with the numbers.

Play the tape again and ask students to complete the telephone numbers. Then ask students to say out their answer, teacher check it with the class.
