1、Module 8 Story time 語法精選 1. pick 采；摘 （1）pick作動詞，意為“采；摘”。如： You should not pick any of the flowers in the park. 你不應該采摘這個公園里的任何一朵花。 （2）常構成詞組pick up，表示“拿起；撿起”。當拿起的東西為名詞時，可以放在pick和up之間，也可以放在up后面；但如果是代詞，則必須放在兩者中間。如： ①Pick up the bag on the floor. 把地板上的包拿起來。 ②The wallet on the floor is yours, pi

2、ck it up. 地板上的錢包是你的，把它撿起來。 2. asleep與go to bed asleep是形容詞，表示“睡著了”，強調狀態(tài)，常與系動詞連用作表語；而go to bed 是動詞短語，表示“去睡覺”，只是強調行為，但不一定表示“睡著了”。如： ①What time do you go to bed every night? 你每天晚上幾點睡覺？ ②The children are asleep in the car. 孩子們在車上睡著了。 3. right 合適的；恰當的 right作形容詞，意為“合適的；恰當的”。常與 just連用，構成just right，

3、意為“正好合適”。 right作形容詞，還有兩個常見的意思： （1）意為“正確的；對的”。反義詞是wrong，意為“錯誤的”。如： You are right and I am wrong. 你是對的，我是錯的。 （2）意為“右邊的；右面的”。反義詞是left，意為“左邊的；左面的”。如： You are right, and I am left. 你在右邊而我在左邊。 句法精析 1. Once upon a time, there was a... 從前有一個…… 這個句型常用于故事的開頭。如： Once upon a time, there was a king

4、. 從前有一位國王。 2. She decided to go for a walk in the park with her basket. 她決定拿著她的籃子到公園里散步。 decide作及物動詞，意為“決定”。常用結構：decide to do sth.；decide+that從句；decide+疑問詞+to do。如： ①At first, they decided to go to the Great Wall. 起先，他們決定去長城。 ②They decided that Tom must stay there. 他們決定湯姆必須留在那里。 ③He could n

5、ot decide what to do next. 他不能決定下一步該做什么。 語法精講 一般過去時（二） 行為動詞的一般過去時 （1）當我們談論過去的動作或狀態(tài)時，常常使用一般過去時，句中的謂語動詞要用過去式。如： Jack often goes to school by bike, but today he walked to school. 杰克經常騎自行車去學校，但是今天他是步行去學校的。 （2）行為動詞的一般過去式變化規(guī)則，如下表： 變化規(guī)則 原形 過去式 一般動詞結尾加-ed walk, listen, look, finish walked, lis
