本課是北師大版教材八年級(jí)英語下冊(cè)第三單元第八課,話題為野營(yíng)。本課為本單元的第二課,主要通過Julie和他的叔叔之間的對(duì)話展開的。本課時(shí)在第七課學(xué)習(xí)現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)疑問句的基礎(chǔ)上,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過聽對(duì)話獲取關(guān)鍵信息.

Step 1. Warm-up
Ask the students questions:
1. Do you want to have a picnic?
2. What will you bring for a picnic?

Step 2. Pre-reading
1. Let Ss pay attention to the phrase “a couple of” and think about the meaning.
2. Help Ss work out the spelling rules of plurals.
3. Review some phrases like a glass of …, a piece of…
Step 3. Reading
1st reading
Ss read the passage to find out the main
4、idea of the passage.
2nd reading
Ss read the passage the second time and fill in the three forms following the teachers. T leads Ss to do the first one together to show how to do it.
Ss fill in the forms individually and check the answers in the groups.
3rd reading
Read the paragraphs one by
5、 one and find out the useful phrases and sentences then underline them in the passages.
Step 4. Pair work
1. Look at the pictures. What are Jenny and her family doing? Talk about it.
2. Give them 5 minutes.
