?????? Are you happy? Do you remember a time when you were happy? Are you seeking happiness today?
????? Many have sought a variety of sources for their feeling of happiness. Some have put their heart and efforts into their work. Too many turned to drugs and alcohol. Untold n
2、umbers have looked for it in the possession of expensive cars, exotic vacation homes, and other popular "toys". Most of their efforts have a root in one common fact: people are looking for a lasting source of happiness.
????? Unfortunately, I believe that happiness evades many because they misunder
3、stand the process and journey of finding it. I have heard many people say that, "I' II be happy when I get my new promotion, 'or "I'll be happy when I lose that extra 20 pounds." This thinking is dangerous because it presupposes that happiness is a "response to having, being or doing something.

4、?? In life, we all experience stimulus and response. Stimulus is when a dog barks at you and bares his teeth. Response is when your heart beats faster, your palms get sweaty and you prepare to run. Today, some people think that an expensive car is stimulus. Happiness is a response. A great paying jo
5、b is stimulus. Happiness is a response. A loving relationship is stimulus. Happiness is a response. This belief leaves us thinking and feeling: "I'll be happy when..."
???? It has been my finding that actually the opposite is true. I believe that happiness is a stimulus and response is what life br
6、ings to those who are truly happy. When we are happy, we tend to have more success in our work. When we are happy, people want to be around us and enjoy loving relationships. When we are happy, we more naturally take better care of our bodies and enjoy good health. Happiness is not a response rather
7、, it is a stimulus.
???? Happiness is a conscious choice we make every day of our lives. For unknown reasons to me, many choose to be miserable, frustrated and angry most of the time. Happiness is not something that happens to us after we get something we want -- we usually get things we want after
8、 we choose to be happy.
????? I have made only one simple rule for my own happiness: Every day above ground is a good day. Therefore, I tend to have a lot of good (and happy) days in succession.

??? 不幸的是,我認(rèn)為快樂與很多人無緣,因?yàn)樗麄冨e(cuò)誤地理解了尋找快樂的過程和旅程。我聽很多人說過“我要是得到提升就會(huì)快樂”或“我減掉多余的20磅就會(huì)快樂”。這種想法是危險(xiǎn)的,因?yàn)樗僭O(shè)快樂是一種對(duì)擁有什么東西,成為什么,或做什么事的“反應(yīng)”。
在生活中,我們都感受到刺激和反應(yīng)。刺激是一條狗沖你狂吠并且露出它的牙齒。反應(yīng)是你的心跳加速,你的手心變得汗津津的,而且你準(zhǔn)備逃跑?,F(xiàn)今有些人認(rèn)為昂貴的汽車是刺激,快樂是反應(yīng)。一份高薪的工作也是刺激,快樂是反應(yīng)。美好的愛情是一
10、種刺激,快樂是反應(yīng)。這種觀念讓我們這樣想和感覺:“如果…我就會(huì)快樂?!?
??? 我發(fā)現(xiàn)事實(shí)上正好相反。我相信快樂是一種刺激,而反應(yīng)是生活所帶給那些真正快樂的人的東西。? 當(dāng)我們快樂的時(shí)候,我們?cè)诠ぷ魃细菀兹〉贸晒Α.?dāng)我們快樂的時(shí)候,人們都想要圍繞著我們,享受愛的溫暖。當(dāng)我們快樂的時(shí)候,我們自然會(huì)更愛護(hù)我們的身體,擁有健康??鞓凡皇且环N反應(yīng)——相反,它是一種刺激。
??? 快樂是對(duì)我們生命中每一天做的一種有意識(shí)的選擇。因?yàn)槟承┪宜恢赖脑?,許多人絕大多數(shù)時(shí)候選擇使自己痛苦、灰心喪氣和生氣??鞓凡皇俏覀兊玫阶约合胍臇|西后才會(huì)出現(xiàn)的東西——通常是我們先選擇使自己快樂,然后才會(huì)得到我們想要的東西。
??? 我為自己的快樂制定了一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的法則:人生在世的每一天都是一個(gè)好日子。因此,我將擁有一個(gè)接一個(gè)的好(而快樂的)日子。
