3、oday we’ll have Unit 16, Module 6. for the first period, we should know what we’ll do in this unit. Please look at the box: In this unit you will … ● Talk about and tell stories. ● Listen to stories and information about names. ● Read extracts from a life story, a position and an article. ● Writ

4、e a story. ● Learn about the Past Perfect. And now please look at the title: 16 Stories. Do you like to read stories? What kind of stories would you prefer? Good. Now let’s look at Ex.1. Can you recognize the characters in the drawings? ( Students may discuss them in Chinese.) A. Sherlock Holme

7、ory of “All Men are Brothers” written by Shi Naian and Luo Guanzhong, novelists in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. Step 2 Practice Ask: What kinds of stories do the four pictures belong to ? Try to answer me in English. You may refer to the Key Words of Ex.1 as a reference. Answers

When checking their answers, encourage them to give reasons for their answers, and, if there is disagreement, to argue for their point of view. Explain that there could be two possible answers
