4、和believe的用法: (1)believe作及物動(dòng)詞時(shí),其后跟名詞作賓語(yǔ),表示“相信”; 賓語(yǔ)是人時(shí)表示“相信某人說(shuō)的話”,后跟從句或復(fù)合賓語(yǔ)時(shí),意為“認(rèn)為;料想;相信等。 (2)believe in為動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ),后跟名詞或代詞作賓語(yǔ).表示“信奉;信仰;信任”的意思。不能跟從句作賓語(yǔ)。 特別注意: 當(dāng)賓語(yǔ)是人的時(shí)候,其區(qū)別見(jiàn)下面的兩個(gè)句子: I believe him.=I believe what he said. I believe in him.=I think he is a trust worth yuan.(believe in=have trust in) I

5、believe him. 我相信他(說(shuō)的話不錯(cuò)) I believe in him. 我信任他(為人可靠) 2. I’d like to think they are real. 我愿意相信他們是存在的。 real表示“真的…”“真實(shí)的…”“名符其實(shí)的”,形容詞,指的是事實(shí)上存在,不是想象或虛構(gòu)的。 如: I' m learning to skate on real ice 真正的冰 true“真正的”“真的”表示的是和事實(shí)及事實(shí)情況相符,而不是編造的。 如:The news is true. really是real的副詞形式。 3. Its yellow tongue was

6、 long and moved very quickly . 它的黃色的舌頭很長(zhǎng);而且移動(dòng)非常迅速。 tongue除了表示舌頭之外,還有另一層意思,它還可以表示語(yǔ)言、方言。 例如:My native tongue is Chinese . 我的母語(yǔ)是漢語(yǔ)。 4. It made a quick bite in the deer’s leg and it was a poisonous bite. 它很快地在鹿的腿上咬了一口,而且這是有毒的一口。 (1)bite既可以作名詞表示“咬一口”。 還可以作動(dòng)詞表示“咬住,咬傷,啃”,詞形變化為bite-bit-bi

8、tten-biting。請(qǐng)看下面兩個(gè)句子: The dog has a powerful bite . 那條狗咬人很猛。 The dog bit him in the leg. (2)poisonous表示有毒的,例如:poisonous snakes 毒蛇,poison是它的名詞形式,意為“毒藥,毒物”。 例如:It is a useful rat-poison . 這是一種很有效的老鼠藥。 6. Soon other dragons came running to the deer. 很快其他的龍也奔向了那只小鹿。 e后面跟一個(gè)現(xiàn)在分詞,表示“跑過(guò)來(lái),吹過(guò)來(lái),流過(guò)來(lái)”的意思

11、 sth.建議某人做某事; suggest that sb. (should) do sth.建議某人做某事。 作“預(yù)示”講時(shí),構(gòu)成句型suggest sth.和suggest that-clause(不用虛擬語(yǔ)氣)。 9. Thanks for having me as your guest . 感謝你招待了我。 thanks for sth. / doing sth. 為某事感謝某人。 例如:Thanks for helping me with my English learning . 謝謝你對(duì)我英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的幫助。 語(yǔ)法: 復(fù)習(xí)過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí) 1. 過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)由was(第一三

12、人稱單數(shù))和were(其余各人稱和數(shù))加現(xiàn)在分詞構(gòu)成,現(xiàn)以動(dòng)詞work為例: 肯定式否定式 I was working. You were working. He/She/It was working. We/You/They were working.I was not(wasn't)working. You were not(weren't)working. He/She/It was not (wasn’t) working. We/You/They were not (weren’t) working. 一般疑問(wèn)句簡(jiǎn)略答語(yǔ) Was I working? Were

13、you working? Was he/she/it working? Were we/you/they working?Yes,you were. No,you were not(weren't). Yes, I was. No,I was not(wasn't). Yes,he/she/it was.No,he/she/it was not(wasn't). No,you/we/they were not(weren't). 2. 過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)的用法。 表示在過(guò)去某一時(shí)刻或某一段時(shí)間正在進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作。這一特定的過(guò)去時(shí)間,除有上下文暗示以外,一般用時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)來(lái)表示。 例如:
