16、 / as等用法容易混淆,下面簡(jiǎn)單總結(jié)這幾種用法的區(qū)別: used to do sth used to中的to是不定式符號(hào),后加動(dòng)詞原形,表示“過(guò)去常常做某事,而現(xiàn)在已不做”,時(shí)態(tài)形式不變。 肯定句 He used to get up early. The river used to be clean. 否定句 在否定句中常用didn’t use to, used not to或usedn’t to He didn’t use to get up early. The river usedn’t to be clean. 疑問(wèn)句 在疑問(wèn)句中常用Did …used to…?

17、 或Used … to …? Did you use to be a teacher? Used you to be a teacher? 反意疑問(wèn)句 She used to live in the country, didn’t / usedn’t she? There used to be a big tree here, didn’t / usedn’t there? 注意used to與would用法區(qū)別: used to 表示過(guò)去習(xí)慣性的動(dòng)作,現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)不如此了;would則常用來(lái)表示過(guò)去和現(xiàn)在均可能有的習(xí)慣動(dòng)作。兩者意思基本相同,但used to較為口語(yǔ)化。Used t

18、o常不需要表示時(shí)間的副詞短語(yǔ)或從句,而would則需要。例如: He used to get up early.他過(guò)去起床很早。 He would get up early when he was young, and he is used to getting up early.他年輕的時(shí)候習(xí)慣于早起,現(xiàn)在仍習(xí)慣于早起。 used to 既表動(dòng)作,又表狀態(tài),而would只用于表動(dòng)作。如“她過(guò)去身體很好”只能譯為She used to be healthy.,不能譯成She would be healthy. be used to + n. / doing be used to中的t

19、o是介詞,后面加名詞或doing sth,其中be 有各種時(shí)態(tài)的變化形式,表示“習(xí)慣于……”。例: She is used to living in the country. He is used to hard work / to working hard. I am not used to being spoken to in that rude way. You’ll soon be / get / bee / grow used to our way of living. I have been used to rice / eating rice. used sth to

20、 do sth (主動(dòng)形式)“用……干某事”;sth be used to do sth(被動(dòng)形式)“……被用來(lái)干某事”。例如: (1)I used a knife to cut bread. A knife is used to cut bread. (2)They use coal to keep warm. Coal is used to keep warm. be used for +n. / doing sth be used for 中, for為介詞, 后加名詞或doing,表示“……被用來(lái)干某事”,與be used to do sth同義。例如: 1. W

21、hat do you use the tool for? It’s used for cutting / to cut hair. 2. Bamboo can be used for building. =Bamboo can be used to build houses. be used as“作為……被使用”。例如: 1. During the war the castle was used as a prison / for keeping prisoners in. 2. A burnt stick can be used as a pen. 3. This grammar book can be used as a textbook.
