use“使用,利用”;stop“停止”;promise“承諾”。 2.D 根據(jù)句中的was not used to表“習(xí)慣于”,后接動名詞排除B項。 So it is/was with sb./st
、h.或It is/was the same with sb./sth. 5.B amounts of作主語時謂語用復(fù)數(shù),這里表示一般狀態(tài),故用are。 6.B might have done虛擬語氣,對過去情況虛擬;gain/put on weight增加體重,固定短語。
11.A who引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句,指代young people。 A“英雄所見略同”;C“好的開頭是成功的一半”;D“人多好辦事”。
可知選A。
20.B make up for 彌補(bǔ);add up to表示“增添,增加”;get rid of表示“戒掉”;take advantage of表示“利用”。
25.A 由discs were very expensive可知,“我”無錢開始。
