1、普通高中課程標準實驗教科書英語必修3 Unit 1 Festivals around the worldReading Festivals and celebrations 教學設計江西省新余市 葉有利教學設計思想:本單元的中心話題是“節(jié)日”,本節(jié)課的閱讀篇章主要介紹古代節(jié)日的起源、亡靈節(jié)、紀念名人的節(jié)日、豐收節(jié)、春天的節(jié)日等,使學生了解各種節(jié)日的由來及其存在的意義。本節(jié)課采用任務型教學方法,充分調動學生的學習積極性,讓學生成為課堂主體,教師成為學生學習的指導者。將聽、說、讀、寫融入課堂,通過“任務型”活動來實現(xiàn)教學目標,使學生能夠通過親身參與和實踐、感悟和體驗英語,發(fā)展語言技能,進而逐步獲得
2、綜合語言運用能力。本節(jié)課以師生談論自己在春節(jié)期間的經(jīng)歷和感受為導入,激活學生關于節(jié)日的背景知識。之后自然而然地過渡到閱讀部分,閱讀部分主要包括略讀、尋讀和精讀三個環(huán)節(jié),由淺入深,學生在了解文章主要內容的同時一些基本的閱讀技能如注意小標題、尋找關鍵詞等也得到了很好地訓練。讀后部分主要是讓學生通過討論更深層次地理解課文,即對節(jié)日的意義有一個更好的了解。在閱讀教學之后設計了一個活動:學生以小組合作的方式創(chuàng)設一個新的節(jié)日。這一活動旨在提高學生將知識和技能轉化為實際運用英語的能力,真正達到信息輸出的目的。教學目標:1 讓學生通過閱讀了解世界各國各種節(jié)日的基本知識;2 引導學生認識節(jié)日的分類、節(jié)日對人們生
3、活的影響,從更深的層面理解各國節(jié)日的意義;3 訓練學生略讀(skimming)、尋讀(scanning)、細讀(detailed reading)等閱讀技能;4 通過世界各國不同節(jié)日的學習培養(yǎng)學生的跨文化交際意識。教學過程Step 1 Lead in (3 minutes)Show some pictures taken during the Spring Festival and share the experience of the Spring Festival with the students. Then ask the students about the things they
4、did during the festival and their feelings.(設計意圖:本節(jié)課在新學期伊始,學生剛剛過完春節(jié)回到學校上課,仍然沉浸在節(jié)日的氣氛中,教師先通過圖片的方式與學生分享自己在春節(jié)期間所做的一些事情,介紹當?shù)氐囊恍╋L俗以及自己的感受。在此基礎上,讓學生用英語簡單談談自己的春節(jié)經(jīng)歷和感受,學生有話可說,可以活躍課堂氣氛,同時也能激活學生關于節(jié)日的背景知識,為后面的閱讀部分作鋪墊。)Step 2 Fast reading (7 minutes)Task 1 Skimming: Skim the passage to find out how many types o
