Step 1 Leading in
T: Hello, everyone! It’s a busy week. I am so tired. So I want to go to Yingfeng Park wit
5、h my workmates this weekend.
Show two pictures on the screen and say, “ Look at the two pictures. This is our school and this is Yingfeng Park. We will get together at school, and then we’ll take a car to get there. Do you know the distance between them and the time we need to get there?

6、: Me, either. So, I asked Baidu Map for help, and I get the distance between them is about 53 km, and we need about 1 hour and 11 minutes to get there. Then we can decide when to leave and when to come back. But if we don’t have a smart phone or a computer, how can we ask others to get the informati

Step 2 Check for revision
1. First use the pictures to review the topic about how to get to a place. Ask students to answer the question “How do you get to school?” according to the pictures in two ways together.
2. Show
8、 some numbers on the screen and check if students can read and write numbers that will be used this class. I give every group a number and a student from each group writes the number in English on their own blackboards, and then read it to the class. If they write and read right, they will get 2 poi

Step 3 Self-study
1. Show the conversation in 2e, and play the recoding to teach and correct their pronunciation. Then ask students to read by themselves and try to understand the sentences as many as they can.
2. Check their understanding by an exercise and Score their answers.

1. Ask students to work in groups to find out the important and difficult points and write them on their small blackboards, and then discuss and analyze them with group members.

1. Ask students to work in pairs to role-play the conversation. Check and help each other to read and understand the conversation.
