2019-2020年高中英語《Conflict》教案4 北師大版選修8 Teaching aims: To practice using the vocabulary of plaints. To practice using linking words and expressions. To practice using the structure: the more…,the more…. To write a letter of plaint. Teaching important points: To arouse students’ interest in learning English. To improve their writing abilities. To introduce group work gradually. Teaching difficult points: Some students may not find it as easy as others to make plaints. 重難點突破: 1. 通過反復練習,培養(yǎng)學生的寫作技巧,并適當?shù)膹土曔B詞的用法,以加強學生寫作時的文章連貫意識。 2. 注重對一些語法知識點的靈活運用。 Teaching methods: Pair work or group work to make every student work in class. Teaching aids: puter and cassette Blackboard designing:見教學課件 Teaching procedures: Step 1: Greetings and warming up. T: Look at the advertisement on Page 26 and guess what is “Tour de France”. S: T: Yes, very good! It’s a kind of exercise bike, but is the advertisement real? S: T: OK! Class, Listen to me! Today we are going to learn a letter of plaint about “Tour de France”, and then you will know whether the advertisement is real or not. Step 2: Reading. Task 1: T: OK! Class, Now I’d like to give you 5 minutes to read the whole letter, and then I hope you can answer the questions on the screen: 1. Why does Jeffreys plain for “Tour de France” ? 2. According to Jeffreys’s letter, do you know how to solve this problem? (Five minutes later check the answers) T: OK! Stop! Now let’s check the answers: Answers for Exercise 1: He has been using the bike for a month in order to lose weight, but he seems to put on weight instead of losing weight. Answers for Exercise 2: I would like to refund his money as soon as possible and pay pensation for the injuries that he has received. Task 2: T: Now read the whole letter again, and try to match the titles (1-6) with the paragraphs (A-E): Paragraph A 1.poor service Paragraph B 2.false claims Paragraph C 3.the product Paragraph D 4.money back Paragraph E 5.poor quality (Five minutes later check the answers) T: OK! Now check the answers: A the product, B false claims, C poor quality D poor service, E money back Step 3: Linking review. T: According to your understanding of the letter, I hope you can classify the underlined linking words and expressions. The harder you study, the better your marks will be. 你學習越努力,成績就會越好。 4. in contact with: 與……取得聯(lián)系。 e.g. I have been in contact with Police Station for the accident. 5. look forward to doing sth.:期望做某事。 e.g. I am looking forward to hearing from you. 我期望著你的來信。 Summary: 1.as soon as possible: 盡快 2. pay for: 償還;賠償 3. the more…, the more…: 越……,越…… 4. in contact with: 與……取得聯(lián)系 5. look forward to doing something: 期望做某事 Homework: 1.
