Ss are able to read and spell the words and phrases: cow, pig, chicken, duck, pear, an apple, an orange 2.Ss are able to grasp the sentence: What are these/those? They are…Are these/those…? Yes, they are. No, they aren’t. 3. Ss are able to read the Cartoon time. And try to recite it then act it out. 4. Ask and answer with two questions. Ability aims: Ss can combine new and old knowledge. Emotional aims: Love nature and ask for information politely. 學(xué)習(xí)重點(diǎn) 1. The plural form sentence: What are these/those? They are…Are these/those…? Yes, they are. No, they aren’t. 2. The students can understand, recite and act the Story time out. 學(xué)習(xí)難點(diǎn) 1. How to read the questions “What are these/those? Are these/those…?” correctly. 2. How to read: farm, they, those, chicken, apple, pear, orange 3. The plural form of nouns. 教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備 PPT 學(xué)生 預(yù)習(xí) 內(nèi)容 The Ss preview the words of animals and fruits before the class. 教 學(xué) 流 程 Step1. Warming up 1. Everyday English. What’s this/that? Do you like animals?/fruits? How many animals/fruits do you know? 2. 3 minute speech. Step2. Revision Brain storm: What’s this/that? Can you tell me some words about animals/fruits? The Ss say the words about the theme as many as possible. Step3. Presentation & Practice 1. T: Look, what place is it? What can you see on the farm? Teach the new words: chicken a chicken cow a cow an apple apples an orange oranges 2. T: Look. Who is this boy? (He’s Liu Tao.) 3. Who is this old man? (He is Liu Tao’s grandpa.) This is Liu Tao’s grandpa’s farm. Today, Mike is visiting the farm. Let’s go to the farm and see what’s on the farm. Show the title: Unit 7 On the farm 4. T: Mike is new here. So how can Liu Tao introduce Mike to his grandpa? Grandpa, this is Mike. Nice to meet you, Mike. Nice to meet you, too.(Act) 5. Teach: Welcome to my farm. Show the pictures. What’s this/that? It’s a/an… What are these/those? They are… Teach: a pig, pigs a duck ducks The Ss learn the new words in singular and plural forms, then ask and answer in pairs. 6. Show the pictures of the text. Read and learn. The Ss read the dialogue in different ways. Notice the pronunciation and intonation. Compare the singular and plural forms, notice the pronunciation of s or es. Step4. Fun time T: Mike is on the farm today, he also visits other places. Look at the pictures and practice with the following drills. What’s this/that? It’s a/an… What are these/those? They are… Work in pairs and then check the work. Step5. Game Are these/those…? Yes, they are./No, they aren’t. Step6. Mike’s diary 1. The Ss read and try to fill in the blanks in oral. 2. Check the work. Step 7. Conclusion Do you like the life on the farm? There’s fresh air, clean water and many animals and fruits. Protect the environment and keep the farm in nature. We are friends with animals and plants, right? What can we do for our friends? Step8. Homework 1. To listen, speak and read the dialogue. 2. Copy the new words and sentences. 3.
