From these sentences we know that they had tried to gain their equal rights in peaceful way, but it was in vai

37、n. So they turned to violence. In this sentence, in which we had either to accept…is an attributive clause, which is used to modify a position. And which was peaceful…is also an attributive clause, which is used to modify a way. Another example: I don’t like the way in which he talks. Step V Home
