Unit 1 Where did you go?
Teaching aims:
1.掌握四會(huì)生詞:weekend, wheel, places , the British Museum, the London Eye.
2.學(xué)會(huì)新句型"What did you do at the weekend?"和"Where did you go?"并懂得使用相應(yīng)的動(dòng)詞過(guò)去式形式進(jìn)行對(duì)話。
3.能有感情地朗讀課文,并進(jìn)行角色扮演。
4.能用動(dòng)詞過(guò)去式詢問(wèn)和描述過(guò)去發(fā)生的事情。
Teaching steps:
Step 1:
2、Warming up and lead-in.
1.Warming up:
Teacher and the children greeting to each other.
Sing the song “Where did you go?”.
2.Lead-in:
T: Boys and girls, what day is it today?
S: It’s Wednesday.
T: Saturday and Sunday is the weekend. (Show the words card of weekend, learn the phrase “at
3、 the weekend”.)
T: What did you do at the weekend? I watched TV at the weekend.(show the question and the answer on screen.)
Have some children try to use the past form and answer. (teacher asks some students, then have them try to ask another one.)
Review the past form of the verbs.

T: Did you visit Big Ben? Ok, look, it’s Big Ben. It’s a big clock.
②New words and sentences.

Show more pictures of the places and have the children do pair work.
