Lesson 37 Lets Learn Geography!
一.教材分析:
本單元圍繞地理和語(yǔ)言這一話(huà)題展開(kāi)教學(xué)。課本從詹妮、丹尼和布萊恩的對(duì)話(huà)開(kāi)始,介紹了世界上一些國(guó)家的情況,要求學(xué)生了解介紹世界上各個(gè)國(guó)家的人文、地理、語(yǔ)言和人口,學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)如何介紹世界各地的情況。學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)與地理和語(yǔ)言相關(guān)內(nèi)容的同時(shí)進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)展了有關(guān)世界各地地理、語(yǔ)言、人口和風(fēng)俗的生詞、短語(yǔ)和日常用語(yǔ)。學(xué)會(huì)如何介紹世界,了解世界,學(xué)習(xí)現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)態(tài)和被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的用法。當(dāng)然,除了學(xué)習(xí)知識(shí),還要培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)新能力,爭(zhēng)取全面發(fā)展。第37課,通過(guò)對(duì)話(huà)了解介紹自己去過(guò)的地方。
二.學(xué)情

八年級(jí)的學(xué)生已經(jīng)初步具備了聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫(xiě)的能力,但水平兩級(jí)分化仍不容忽視,尤其是學(xué)生口語(yǔ)、書(shū)面表達(dá)相對(duì)薄弱,因此在教學(xué)活動(dòng)的設(shè)計(jì)上要盡量考慮不同層次學(xué)生的能力水平,多給與鼓勵(lì),增強(qiáng)其自信心。
三.教學(xué)目標(biāo):
1.掌握單詞:population,abroad,Japan,Japanese,island,Pacific;短語(yǔ):one day,can’t wait to do sth
2.了解介紹自己去過(guò)的地方:

4.通過(guò)聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練,兩人合作角色扮演的方式及小組合作交流的方式進(jìn)行教學(xué),通過(guò)實(shí)物或圖片提供的場(chǎng)景練習(xí)目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言,提高英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力。
5.初步了解現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)態(tài)的用法。
