教學(xué)資料參考范本 九年級(jí)英語(yǔ)上冊(cè) Module 2 Unit 2 It’s still read and loved導(dǎo)學(xué)案 外研版 撰寫(xiě)人:__________________ 時(shí) 間:__________________ :讀寫(xiě)課 一、學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo) 知識(shí)目標(biāo):1. 掌握13個(gè)詞匯(behavior, cave, freedom, funeral, social, theme, treasure, clever, dead, pleased, alive, southern, state)和3個(gè)詞組(run away, grow up, talk about), 理解1個(gè)詞匯和1個(gè)詞組(outsider, for a time)。 2.理解一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài),在大量的語(yǔ)言輸入中感知一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)be + done … (by …)的構(gòu)成。 3.通過(guò)詞匯、句式的學(xué)習(xí)進(jìn)一步熟悉名著推介的話(huà)題。 技能目標(biāo):1. 聽(tīng):能夠聽(tīng)懂關(guān)于《湯姆索亞歷險(xiǎn)記》名著推介的文章,能將段落大意與段落進(jìn)行匹配。 2. 說(shuō):能夠預(yù)測(cè)文章內(nèi)容,能夠基本運(yùn)用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)簡(jiǎn)單介紹最喜愛(ài)的書(shū)目。 3.讀:能夠讀懂介紹名著的文章,能找出段落的主旨句,理解文章段落大意和文章結(jié)構(gòu)。通過(guò)閱讀能夠提取、歸納信息。 4.寫(xiě):能夠模仿課文結(jié)構(gòu)和句式,描述最喜歡的一本書(shū)。 教學(xué)過(guò)程 (一)課前導(dǎo)入: Activity 1 的1、2題是對(duì)Unit 1的復(fù)習(xí),先解決這兩道題,這樣即可以達(dá)到對(duì)上一單元對(duì)話(huà)內(nèi)容的回顧,也由此引出The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.將書(shū)名呈現(xiàn)在黑板上,學(xué)生上節(jié)課的作業(yè)中有一個(gè)預(yù)習(xí)作業(yè)是查找馬克吐溫的主要作品,這里將學(xué)生們的作業(yè)做一個(gè)反饋,學(xué)生交流他們查找的結(jié)果。然后引導(dǎo)學(xué)生判斷這部小說(shuō)的類(lèi)別, “What kind of novel is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer?”答案是 “Adventure story.”這一部分可根據(jù)學(xué)生的實(shí)際情況增加書(shū)的類(lèi)別介紹并給出例子,如:,histories: Henry VIII 等等。 二、讀前聽(tīng) 聽(tīng)錄音將5個(gè)自然段與每段的段落大意相匹配。 Paragraph 1 Theme of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer Paragraph 2 Character Paragraph 3 Reason for its greatness Paragraph 4 Story Paragraph 5 Favourite scene 通過(guò)聽(tīng)力達(dá)到對(duì)文章整體框架的理解。 三、文章學(xué)習(xí) 1、閱讀前(Pre-reading) 可以借助圖片來(lái)幫助學(xué)生們?nèi)ヮA(yù)測(cè),可以問(wèn) “What can you see in the picture? Can you guess what is happening?”并回答Activity 1中的3、4題, 這樣做的目的是借助圖片這種非語(yǔ)言信息進(jìn)行理解和表達(dá),也使學(xué)生的思維活躍起來(lái)。 2、閱讀中(While-reading): 這是課文教學(xué)的重要部分,采取總—分—總的方法,先整體感知,再捕捉細(xì)節(jié)信息,分析課文,最后整體歸納的方法。 總:默讀,再次感知課文 默讀,欣賞文章:為了很好地感受、體驗(yàn)進(jìn)而能夠欣賞文章,實(shí)現(xiàn)技能目標(biāo)中“讀”的第一個(gè)目標(biāo):通過(guò)閱讀學(xué)會(huì)欣賞文章,我們采用默讀的方式讓學(xué)生瀏覽文章,并回答Activity 4 中的第四題,“Which of the scenes in the article do you like best?”鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生自己的見(jiàn)解,時(shí)間控制在2-3分鐘之內(nèi)。 分:分析課文,捕捉細(xì)節(jié)信息 1)朗讀課文,完成問(wèn)題:這里學(xué)生帶著Activity4中的前三個(gè)問(wèn)題 “What kind of boy is Tom?” “Why do you think Tom wants to go to his own funeral?” “Why do you think people still read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer?”大聲朗讀,閱讀后回答問(wèn)題并核對(duì)答案,允許不同答案的存在,如第2、3小題,這樣做是為了實(shí)現(xiàn)對(duì)文章細(xì)節(jié)的把握,捕捉文章的具體信息。 2)分析并復(fù)述課文。在此將Activity 3 的表格融入課文處理中,通過(guò)個(gè)別學(xué)生示范朗讀,學(xué)生自己朗讀和齊讀等不同的閱讀方式進(jìn)行精讀。找出每一段用來(lái)復(fù)述的“key words”,提示學(xué)生根據(jù)這些“key words”復(fù)述課文,達(dá)到信息輸出的目的,加深對(duì)課文的理解,明確文章的線(xiàn)索為寫(xiě)作做好準(zhǔn)備。 The Adventures of Tom Sawyer Mark Twain Paragraph 1 Q:Where does Tom live? Story: Who: Tom Where: in St. Petersburg, Missouri What: runs away with… goes looking for…with… gets lost… find 在分析、復(fù)述完第一段以后,解決“Learning to learn”,問(wèn)學(xué)生“What words and phrases attract you in the first passage?”, 學(xué)生可能會(huì)回答“Exciting adventure, treasure, gold, get lost…attract me.”既然這些詞能夠激起學(xué)生們閱讀的興趣,就引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在他們的寫(xiě)作中也可以用到這樣的詞和詞組來(lái)吸引讀者。同時(shí),在此處解決 “Learning to learn”也是對(duì)本段中所出現(xiàn)的重點(diǎn)單詞和詞組adventure, go looking for, find oneself in…, run away…的強(qiáng)化。 Paragraph 2 Favourite scene (Which)--- Everyone thinks Tom decides to go to … hides and watches … appears … is surprised to… are pleased to… 這一段的詞匯重點(diǎn)是be surprised to do, be pleased to do, 而且,這兩個(gè)詞組也是學(xué)生們?cè)谌粘=浑H中會(huì)經(jīng)常用到,為了能夠讓學(xué)生熟練運(yùn)用,設(shè)計(jì)以下練習(xí): a. Paragraph 3 Characters (Who)--- Tom …but there are… Huck …and … Becky …, Joe …, Injun Joe … Paragraph 4 Q: What does the story do with? describes how …are seen… talks about …h(huán)ow …are punished for … 這一段的新詞匯較多(theme, freedom, punish, behaviour, grow up),而且出現(xiàn)了兩個(gè)一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的句子(It describes how strangers are seen in small towns of America. …and how people are punished for bad behaviour.),為了鞏固新詞匯和進(jìn)一步感知、理解一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài),設(shè)計(jì)了如下練習(xí): a. ---What’s the t________ of the book? ---It’s about love. b. ---People think white pigeon is the symbol of f_________ and peace. c. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer also talks about how people are p_________ for bad behavior. Paragraph 5 Reason for its greatness (Why)--- Time: wrote in 1876, but…still… Language: everyday, southern, → real 總:回顧課文,總結(jié)文章寫(xiě)作要素 分析完整篇文章以后,讓學(xué)生總結(jié)出這篇文章的寫(xiě)作順序:Story---Favourite scene ---Characters---Theme---Reason,指導(dǎo)學(xué)生在寫(xiě)書(shū)籍介紹時(shí)可以按照這樣的順序來(lái)完成文章。 3.閱讀后(After reading),經(jīng)過(guò)對(duì)文章的分析和復(fù)述,在學(xué)生對(duì)文章整體了解的基礎(chǔ)上,解決Activity 5中的問(wèn)題“After reading the introduction of Tom Sawyer, would you like to read it? Why or why not?”。并在此問(wèn)題基礎(chǔ)上,進(jìn)一步討論:“What do you think makes a great book?” 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生從文章的構(gòu)成要素方面進(jìn)行考慮,即剛剛分析到的故事情節(jié)、人物、場(chǎng)景等,這里實(shí)現(xiàn)了技能目標(biāo)“讀”中關(guān)于理解文章段落大意和文章結(jié)構(gòu)的目標(biāo)。 4.小組討論。將Activity 6 和Activity 7&8作為語(yǔ)言的輸出環(huán)節(jié),按照思考-討論-寫(xiě)作的順序進(jìn)行。在本環(huán)節(jié),學(xué)生按Activity 3 的表格項(xiàng)目思考自己喜歡的書(shū),并就要點(diǎn)在4人小組中交流和討論,在交流和討論中,發(fā)現(xiàn)并改正自己的語(yǔ)言中出現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題,為下一步的模仿寫(xiě)作奠定基礎(chǔ)。。 四、寫(xiě)作練習(xí) 根據(jù)表格提示,介紹你最喜歡的一本書(shū)。 Name Writer Place Story Favourite sciience Character Theme Reason for its greatness 五、小結(jié)。 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生總結(jié)出本課名著推介的幾大要素,即:Story---Favourite scene ---characters---theme---reason, 提示學(xué)生在文章的結(jié)尾要加上類(lèi)似這樣的語(yǔ)言,以吸引更多的人閱讀。另外,采用常用的課內(nèi)檢測(cè)(下面的三道小題)的小結(jié)方式,幫助學(xué)生梳理、歸納、提煉本單元的詞匯及語(yǔ)言重點(diǎn)。 學(xué)以致用 一、單項(xiàng)選擇 1. The name of the story is Rip Van Winkle, and it is also the name of the hero in this story. There are three characters in this story, Rip Van Winkle and his wife, Dame Van Winkle and their dog, Woof. Dame Van Winkle is a sharp-tongued (說(shuō)話(huà)尖酸的、刻薄的) woman. Both Rip Van Winkle and the dog are terrified of her, even of her voice. There is a scene that can describe how Rip Van Winkle and his dog feel in front of Dame Van Winkle: Rip had just one way of replying to his wife’s talk: he only put his head back on his shoulders, looked up toward heaven, and said nothing… True, in the woods, Woof was as brave as an honorable dog should be; but as soon as Woof entered the house, his head bent low, his tail lay on the ground or curled between his legs. He went around the house with a guilty look, watching Dame Van Winkle out of the corner of his eye, ready to run from the room at the slightest sign of her displeasure. This was the time when England ruled America. One day, Rip Van Winkle went into the mountain with his dog for an escape of his wife. He drank something given by some strangers and fell asleep. That was 20 years! His wife died and America got freedom from England, and I think that’s what the story wants to tell us: both the poor man’s independence and nation’s independence. Why Irving’s story attract people? Because he wrote so vividly(生動(dòng)). That sets me thinking: How he observed things so carefully? If you read through this story, you can’t help smiling or laughing from time to time!
