2019-2020年八年級(jí)下冊(cè) 19課英文版說課稿 冀教版 Hello, everyone. Today I’m very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is The zoo is open taken from Lesson 19 of Unit 3. It is made up of four parts Part 1 My understanding of this lesson The analysis of the teaching material: This is the third lesson of Unit3.It is a very important part in this unit..Lesson 19 is a dialogue, it’s about a plan .(where are you going) to the zoo。.And Unit3 is about the animals.They are connected. By studying Lesson19,the students can improve their listening,speaking,reading and writing abilities.At the same time, make them understand animals are important for people. Some of them will go extinct.To protect the animals is our duty. Teaching aims: 1. Knowledge aim: Understand the main idea of this lesson. 2. Ability aim: Retell the text in their own words. 3. Emotional aim: Make the Ss love animals and do something to stop them from going extinct. Key points / Teaching important points: The important points : New words and phrases Act out the dialogue The difficult points : How to make a plan Something about the Ss: 1. The Ss have known something about animals through the Internet and other ways. 2. They are lack of vocabulary. 3. They don’t often use English to express themselves and municate with others. 4. Some Ss are not active in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes. Teaching method: I will use ----Double activities teaching method ,Question-and-answer activity teaching method, Watch-and-listen activity ,Free discussion method ,Pair work or individual work method. Teaching aids: 1. a projector 2. a tape recorder Part 3. Teaching steps / procedures I have designed the following steps to train their ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, especially reading ability. Step1 :Lead in Ask some questions about Lesson19.say “What are you going to do on Sunday ?Do you want to see the animals?Let’s look at Danny and Jenny ,where they are going.to lead into Lesson19:The Zoo Is Open! Step2: Show the new words to the students. Show them some pictures and let them talk each other, and then use the pictures to learn new words, for example,gorillas, zebra ,snake and so on. Purpose: Arouse the students’ interest of study. Step3: Listening: Ask them to close their books and listion to the tape.I’ll give them two questions.listen to the first part and answer the first question and then the second.。 Purpose:Train the Ss’ listening ability Step 4. Fast reading Read the passage as quickly as they can. I show the questions on the screen and let them get the main idea of this lesson. Purpose: Improve the students’ reading ability. Step5: Act out: Ask two groups to e to the blackboard and act out the dialogue, if they do well,we can go on next step , If they can’t , I will give them two minutes to recite the dialodge. Purpose: I want to know if my students understand the whole text really. Step6: Play a game I’ll ask one cute student to e to the blackboard and do some actions like a dog ,a monker and so on,the others can guess what It is. In this part ,it can improve the students’ speaking ability. By this way the students can remember the new words easily. Step7: discussing Scientists say that seventy-four different kinds of living things go extinct every day. How can people stop animals from going extinct, or how to protect the animals. Purpose: This part make the students understand the anmals are people’s friends, to protect them is our duty. Step8: Do some exercise. Fill in the blanks : 1 They go through the _________(入口)and see a sign,”______(危險(xiǎn))!” 2 Why can’t we _____ ______(照相)? 3 The bear is very big. He’s also very_____(懶) 4 Maybe photos would________(使驚奇)the animals. 5 It’s______(將近)noon ,and he’s still sleeping. 6 Years ____,many zoos kept ____kinds of animals in small____. Small cages made it ____ for people to ____ the animals, but a small cage is not a good ____ for an animal to ____ in. Today zoos keep animals in _______kinds of cages. The cages are very big and open. They usually have ____and a little lake. The cages ___like the animals’ habitats(棲息地) Step 9: Summary Ask what we have learned today. Ask one of the students to answer. 1 : We know something about animals. 2 : Some new words and expressions Step 10: Homework writing Write a story about your trip to the zoo,or write a story about a trip to the zoo you would like to take. Don’t forget to answer these questions: When did you go to the zoo? Did you buy tickets for the zoo? What animals did you see? What animals did you like best? Why ? Did you feed any animals? Are zoos good for animals? Why ?
