1、Unit 3 Language in usewhether/if及疑問(wèn)詞引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句及疑問(wèn)詞引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句 1. whether/if引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句（1）由一般疑問(wèn)句變成的賓語(yǔ)從句，用if或whether引導(dǎo)，表示“是否”，原來(lái)的一般疑問(wèn)句的語(yǔ)序要變?yōu)殛愂鼍湔Z(yǔ)序。如： Does the boy like English? The teacher asked me if the boy liked English. 老師問(wèn)我這個(gè)男孩是否喜歡英語(yǔ)。Are they students?I dont know if they are students. 我不知道他們是否是學(xué)生。 （2）

2、whether和if的區(qū)別： 1）whether和if在賓語(yǔ)從句中可以互換，但是作介詞的賓語(yǔ)時(shí)，連接詞一般用whether。如： It all depends on whether they will come back. 這完全取決于他們是否會(huì)回來(lái)。 2）后面有or not時(shí)，連接詞用whether。如： I didnt know whether or not he had arrived in Wuhan. 我不知道他是否已經(jīng)到達(dá)了武漢。 3）主語(yǔ)從句、表語(yǔ)從句、同位語(yǔ)從句中只能用whether。如： Whether the meeting will be put off has not

3、been decided yet. 這個(gè)會(huì)議是否會(huì)被推遲還沒(méi)有決定。（主語(yǔ)從句） 4）whether常與or連用表示一種選擇，if不能這樣用；whether也可以與動(dòng)詞不定式連用，但if不能。如： I have not decided whether to go or not. 我還沒(méi)決定去不去。 2. 疑問(wèn)詞引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句疑問(wèn)詞引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句 由連接代詞who, whom, what, which, whose和連接副詞when, where, why, how等引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句，原來(lái)的句子是特殊疑問(wèn)句。疑問(wèn)詞不僅起連接作用，還在從句中充當(dāng)句子成分，可作時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)、方式狀語(yǔ)或主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)等，各自
