2)run out of 是“動詞+副詞+介詞”的短語。of 后接賓語, 主語通常是表示“人”的名詞。

【拓展】1) run out of 也可以表示“從……跑出來”的意思。
The dog ran out of the room. 這條狗從房間里跑了出來。
2) sth. run(s) out 表示“某物用完了”
