Asking ‘Wh-‘questions to find out about an animal. E.g. What is it? Open an interaction by asking a question. Basic aims: Guess, riddle, animal. B.STRUCTURES: ----They’re….. What are they? ----They’re… Further aims: Adding some words: nice, beautiful, ugly. 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛動(dòng)物,保護(hù)動(dòng)物。 教學(xué)過程Teaching Procedure Pre-task Activities Step 1 Daily talk. Step 2 Revision Ask and answer. Do you like------? Yes, l do. No, l don’t. While-task Activities Step1 Elicit the new subject. ) Ask students to look at Student’s Book page 19. 2) Promote them to say the names of the animals at the top of the page, E.g. elephants 3) Describe the animals. Say: Look at the elephants. They’re big. They’re grey. 4) Invite more able students to describe the other animals on the page. Step2 Listen to the tape recorder. 1) Play the cassette: Look and Guess. Students listen to number 1 and follow in their books. 2) Play the cassette, pausing for the students to answer. Step 3 Practice in pairs. 1) Divide students into pairs. 2) One student reads out the riddles and the other guesses and answers. 3) Invite individual students to read out the riddles. Others guess and answer. 4) Divide students into groups. 5) Distribute drawing paper to each student. Ask students to draw their favorite’s animal on the paper and write a caption. 6) Each group collects their pictures and makes an Animals Big Book. Groups exchange their books to share their work. Put all the Animals Big Books in the Class Library. Post-task Activities Step1 Learn the sound 1) Play the cassette. Students listen to follow in their books. 2) Play the cassette again. Students listen and repeat the sounds. 3) Invite individual students to read out the sentence. Step2 Do some exercise. 1) Wordbook page 11 A Student to read the animals’ names on the page. B Divide students into pairs. They take turns to ask and answer. C Students plete the exercise. D Invite pairs of students to read out the riddles and answers. The rest of the class check answers. 2.)A. Use Photo capable pages 12, 13 and 14. Students use a big card board as the area of a forest. B. Students colour the animals, cut them out, and stick them on the card. They can add trees, mountains, rivers. etc. C. Ask more able students to write their own riddles. And it’s very long. This is Big Ben. It’s very long. 3、難 點(diǎn):有關(guān)英國重要景點(diǎn)如River Thames, Big Ben, London Eye等知識的了解。 三、課前準(zhǔn)備 1、課本及活動(dòng)手冊。 2、一些與形容詞相關(guān)(如:電視塔、長城)的圖片及實(shí)物(如:新舊玩具、衣服)。 3、一些有關(guān)英國倫敦的資料和地圖。 4、一個(gè)導(dǎo)游用的小喇叭,一頂遮陽帽 5、有關(guān)英國重要景點(diǎn)的錄像展示課件。 6、錄音機(jī)及配套的磁帶。 四、教學(xué)過程 (中英文相結(jié)合) Step 1 Warm up 1、教師熱情地和學(xué)生打招呼,并帶領(lǐng)全班做TRP活動(dòng)“Say as I do, not as I say”。例如:教師說:“I’m tall.”同時(shí)俯身用手比著地面以上不高的位置。學(xué)生要迅速說出:“You’re not tall. You’re short.” 2、通過一些與形容詞相關(guān)(如:電視塔、長城、)的圖片及實(shí)物(如:新舊玩具、衣服)。帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生回憶相關(guān)詞語:big/ small, long/ short, tall/ short old/ new. Step 2 Presentation and practice 老師先問中國的首都是哪里?再來引出英國的首都。并向?qū)W生出示英國的地圖,請學(xué)生觀察英國和倫敦的位置關(guān)系。向?qū)W生講述有關(guān)英國重要景點(diǎn)的大概知識。 老師拿著喇叭并戴上遮陽帽,扮成導(dǎo)游的樣子開始講課。 Good morning! Today we’re going to go to London. It’s the captial of England.請同學(xué)們跟隨老師看一看倫敦重要的三個(gè)景點(diǎn)。1.The frist one is River Thames.(展示課間圖片)。老師問:What can you see in the picture?學(xué)生可用I can see…句型回答。老師用肢體語言引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說出This river is very wide .And it’s very long.并教授wide這個(gè)單詞。2.Amy和Lingling正在談?wù)摻酉聛砦覀円サ膬删包c(diǎn),快來聽一聽。聽第一遍錄音后,學(xué)生回答出Big Ben /London Eye 這兩個(gè)景點(diǎn)。教師使用兩個(gè)景點(diǎn)的課間講授他們的特點(diǎn):Big Ben /It’s very old clock. And it’s very tall. London Eye / It’s a big wheel. It’s very high ,round and new.同時(shí)講授old /clock/high/wheel/round 3. 打開書聽第二遍錄音,要求學(xué)生圈出錄音中提及的景物名稱和用于描述他們的形容詞。之后,教師把學(xué)生的回答寫在黑板上,把景物名稱再次和相關(guān)的形容詞關(guān)聯(lián)起來。4.播放第三遍錄音,請同學(xué)們逐句模仿跟讀。并讓學(xué)生完成AB Unit1練習(xí)。之后,老師問“What is this house like? What is this river like? 等問題 。提示學(xué)生用“tall ,old ,long , wide, new, round”來描述5.完成SB Unit1活動(dòng)2。首先請學(xué)生兩人一組看圖說話,再請學(xué)生聽錄音,并對課本的這幾個(gè)重點(diǎn)句子進(jìn)行操練。6.完成SB Unit1活動(dòng)3,請兩人一組使用剛學(xué)過的重點(diǎn)句型說句子,描述書上圖片。 Step 3 Consolidation and extension 1.學(xué)生分腳色朗讀課文。并請幾組學(xué)生到教室前面表演課文。 2.讓學(xué)生觀看有關(guān)英國重要景點(diǎn)的錄像展示課件。 3.教師提供的圖片(電視塔、長城),學(xué)生剛學(xué)的句型和形容詞造句。 Step 4 Summary 1.復(fù)習(xí)本課重點(diǎn)句型及單詞。 2. 請學(xué)生在黑板上,將River Thames, Big Ben, London Eye及相應(yīng)的形容詞配對。 Step 5 Homework 1.聽并讀Module2 Unit1 課文三次。 2.用P7第三部分的三個(gè)圖造句子。 3.做AB P7。 4.自愿完成 找一張自己游覽過的景點(diǎn)照片,試著用學(xué)的句型單詞向家人或同學(xué)描述。 Step 6 Blackboard design Module2 Unit 1 It’s very long.
