教材分析
I.教學內(nèi)容分析
本單元的中心話題是“新聞”,內(nèi)容涉及新聞工作者應該具備的素質(zhì)和新聞采訪的基本程序等。語言技能和語言知識主要圍繞“新聞”這一中心話題進行設(shè)計的。
Warming up部分通過討論來引出報社各工作人員的工作類別和所負的責任。關(guān)鍵在于What’s the job?和 What it involves?
Pre-reading部分首先通過一個調(diào)查問卷來引導學生去考慮一個優(yōu)秀的記者應該具備的素質(zhì);然后引導
11、學生談他們難忘的經(jīng)歷和感受;最后通過一個“假設(shè)”為下一部分的學習做好準備。
Reading部分通過Zhou Yang,一個躍躍欲試的新手和他的上司Hu Xin, 一個經(jīng)驗豐富的資深記者之間的談話引導學生了解新聞工作者應該具備的素質(zhì),新聞采訪的基本程序及采訪時應該注意的要點等。
Comprehending設(shè)計了四個教學活動來加深學生對“閱讀”(Comprehending)部分的理解和復習。
第一個活動要求學生根據(jù)要求,通過閱讀找到所需要的信息,重新組織后再呈現(xiàn)出來。
第二個活動要求學生把閱讀部分分成三個小節(jié),并說明每個小節(jié)的要點。
第三個活動通過形容詞歸類進一步
12、去引導學生思考一個優(yōu)秀的文字記者和攝影記者應該具備的素質(zhì)。
第四個活動要求學生朗讀后半部分對話,練習句子重音和語調(diào)。
Learning about language 歸納和運用了本單元的一些重點詞匯和語法。
Using language部分涵蓋了聽,說,讀,寫四項語言基本技能。
第一部分學生首先通過閱讀“獲得‘獨家新聞’”一文。寫出“新聞”報道的步驟和見報前的有關(guān)程序,然后討論這位“影星”可能說了什么謊話。
第二部分首先聽一段對籃球明星姚明的采訪。隨后的練習設(shè)計既訓練了學生獲取要點的能力,又引導學生如何獲取細節(jié)。
最后要求學生通過開展兩人對話活動復習
13、鞏固有關(guān)交際功能“約會”的用語。
Summing up部分歸納了本單元的主要學習內(nèi)容并引導學生對學習效果進行自我檢測。
Learning tip部分建議學生盡可能多的閱讀一些適合于中學生的英文報紙。教師不妨推薦一些給學生,或讓學生自己推薦一些他們認為好的英文報紙。
II.教學重點和難點
1. 教學的重點:
(1) 簡要了解新聞工作者應該具備的素質(zhì),新聞采訪的基本程序及采訪時應該注意的要點。
(2) 學習有關(guān)新聞工作的生詞和短語。
(3) 學會表達約會的日常交際用語。
2. 教學的難點:
(1) 學習倒裝句(Inversion)的用法。
(2) 學習寫新聞報道。
