1、 教學(xué)案例 一、教學(xué)內(nèi)容: 外研版八年級英語上冊Module 9 Population Unit 1 The population about China is about 1.37 billion. 二、教學(xué)背景: 本課是河西區(qū)新青教師三年培養(yǎng)計(jì)劃中的巡課任務(wù),我選擇的班級是八年一班,本班班主任由我擔(dān)任。區(qū)里對于巡課十分重視,所以在準(zhǔn)備的過程中,我也投入了很多的精力。 三、學(xué)情分析: 本次授課依舊選用了我作為班主任所帶的班級,學(xué)生進(jìn)入八年級,青春期是最關(guān)鍵的時(shí)期。有些學(xué)生已經(jīng)出現(xiàn)了厭學(xué)的情緒,尤其是對于英語這樣一門用非母語傳授的課程,所以在實(shí)際授課中需要注重激
2、發(fā)他們的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,并在他們已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)過的知識的基礎(chǔ)上傳授新知。 四、教材分析: 1. 話題:本次授課選擇的是Module 9 Population的第一課時(shí)The population of China is about 1.37 billion,這是一節(jié)聽說課,注重聽說水平的培養(yǎng)。 2. 課型:Listening and speaking聽說課,主要通過任務(wù)型教學(xué)鍛煉學(xué)生聽說水平。 3. 重點(diǎn)語法:大數(shù)字的閱讀 4. 教學(xué)目標(biāo): (1)知識與技能: a. 1. To understand population-related topics. 2. To listen for
3、specific information. 3. To be able to read and understand large numbers. 4. To be able to talk about population and related problems. (2)過程與方法:1. self-learning: observe and summarize the way to read numbers 2. cooperative and communicative approach: cooperate with others and complete the task
4、(3)情感、態(tài)度與價(jià)值觀: Through knowing the situation of population in different countries and the problems caused by increasing population, students should arouse their thinking and awareness to protect the environment. 5. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):1. New words: noise, prepare, notes, report, grow, huge, cause, problem
5、, increase, birth, billion, fifth, hang on 2. Expression: --What’s the population of …? --The population of … is… 3. Language point: How to read large numbers? 6. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn):Read large numbers: Read three different commas. (billion, million,
6、 thousand) 7. 教具準(zhǔn)備:Multimedia, handout, textbook, video, PPT 五、教學(xué)過程: 教師活動 學(xué)生活動 設(shè)計(jì)意圖 教 學(xué) 過 程 Step 1: Lead-in 1. Play a short video. 2. Show two pictures. 1. Watch the video. 2. Look at two pictures and say what they can see. The video has a lot of big n
7、umbers. Use the video to lead students to topic-related situation. Pictures has the same function. Step 2: Listening practice. 1. Play the tape for students once. Ask them to pay attention to the numbers and finish two questions. 2. Check the answers. 1. Listen to the tape. Pay attention to the
8、numbers and finish Activity 1 on the paper. 2. Check the answers with the teacher. The numbers in this part is big but not difficult. Students can have a general idea about big numbers and face a question: how to read them? Step 3 Chain game: Count numbers 1. Tell students that we will play a
9、chain game about counting numbers. 2. Tell them to be loud and quick as much as possible. 3. Choose a student and start. 1. Listen for the game rules. 2. Start to count one by one. Small numbers are easy. In this part, students open their mouths for the first time. They can practice easy nu
10、mbers and prepare for large numbers. In addition, game is relaxing and can ignite their interest. 教 學(xué) 過 程 Step 4: Read easy numbers. 1. Tell students that they will see some numbers. Ask them to read as soon as they see them. 2. Show the numbers and ask them to read. 3. When finish
11、reading a group, stop and illustrate how to write numbers more than 20, less than 100 and how to read numbers more than 100 but less than 1000. Read the numbers as quickly as they can. Pay attention to the red parts on the screen. Students have already learnt how to read or write easy numbers in p
12、rimary school. This part is to review and set up a basis for the tasks later. 教 學(xué) 過 程 Step 5: Read big numbers. 1. Show big numbers on the screen. Ask the students if they know how to read. 2. Ask them to pay attention to the commas in different colors. (Red: thousand; yellow: milli
13、on; green: billion) 3. Read a large number:1,234,506,000 1. Look at the screen and pay attention to the colored commas. Remember what they are. 2. Try to read the large number 1,234,506,000 Language point teaching. Step 6: Exercise 1. Show some big numbers to the students. 2. Ask t
14、hem to practise reading with their partners. 3. Call some students to read. 4. Ask all the students to read together. 1. Look at the screen. 2. Practise reading with the partners. 3. Read together. Practise reading big numbers to see if they have already learnt how to read. Ste
15、p 7: New words learning 1. Show some word-related pictures and the English meaning of the new words. 2. Ask the students to fill in the blanks with a new word. 3. Read the new words. 1. Look at the pictures and find a new word to fill in the blanks. 2. Read the new words. Learn the new words
16、 to make the listening of the passage later easier. Step 8: Listen and answer the questions. 1. Ask the students to look at Activity 3 on the paper. Tell them they will listen to the recording of the dialogue and they need to listen carefully and find out the answers. 2. Play the recording once.
17、 3. Play the flash of the dialogue and ask the students to check answers through watching. 4. Ask some students to elicit their answers. 1. Look at the paper. Read the questions in Activity 3 to predict what they are going to listen. 2. Listen to the recording carefully and answer the questions
18、. 3. Watch the flash and check the answers. 4. Elicit answers with the whole class. Students leant the new words before. So the dialogue is not difficult for them. All they have to do is to listen for the specific information, which, in this dialogue, is the numbers. Step 9: Listen and read. 1
19、. Play the tape for students. Ask them to read after the tape. 2. Give them two minutes to practise reading in groups. 3. Call some groups to show. 1. Listen to the tape and read after it. 2. Practise reading with classmates. 3. Show. Practise their oral English by reading the dialogue them
20、selves. Step 10: Ask and answer. 1. Show the example dialogue and the chart to them. 2. Tell them to practise the dialogue in pairs. Use the numbers in the chart. 3. Call some groups to show. 1. Observe the chart. Practise the numbers in the chart. 2. Read the example dialogue with his partn
21、er. 3. Show. Use the dialogue to practise reading big numbers. Step 11: Free talk 1. Ask the students: What problems are caused by population increase? 2. Discuss. 3. Show some pictures. 1. Discuss with their partner about the problems caused by population increase. 2. Elicit ideas.

24、 六、反思: 授課之前,我進(jìn)行了精心的備課,根據(jù)學(xué)生特點(diǎn),設(shè)計(jì)了整節(jié)課的所有活動,并上網(wǎng)查找資料,在其他教師的指點(diǎn)下,準(zhǔn)備好了本課所需的輔助PPT,學(xué)案以及教材。 本節(jié)課課型為聽說課,要求學(xué)生多聽,多念,多交流,多說。本節(jié)課有大量大數(shù)字念法,對于學(xué)生來說,對他們的口語能力要求比較高。在本節(jié)課的教學(xué)過程中,我根據(jù)以及教材的難易程度,由易到難地,設(shè)計(jì)了多種形式的教學(xué)活動。? 課后,經(jīng)過專家和教研員以及各位同科老師點(diǎn)評,反思這節(jié)課,我覺得本課有以下幾個特點(diǎn)和亮點(diǎn)。如數(shù)字的教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié),我從易到難,先讓學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)已經(jīng)學(xué)過的數(shù)字,并且進(jìn)行口頭練習(xí),再進(jìn)入到大數(shù)字的學(xué)習(xí)中。在單詞的講授中,由于學(xué)
25、生已經(jīng)在課前進(jìn)行充分預(yù)習(xí),因此,我采用英英解釋,讓孩子們迅速反應(yīng)并說出單詞,鍛煉能力。課程的密度大,但內(nèi)容實(shí)際,在操練對話的過程中,讓學(xué)生多讀,多說,練習(xí)口語和聽力,習(xí)得語言。? 但同時(shí),我反思這節(jié)課,結(jié)合英語科區(qū)教研員和各位專家所提出的建議,找出以下不足和仍需改進(jìn)的地方: 1. 課前應(yīng)該交代一下目標(biāo),導(dǎo)入視頻只是單純的播放,沒有設(shè)置問題。 2. 學(xué)會大數(shù)字朗讀之后,沒有及時(shí)練習(xí)。 3. 題目應(yīng)該再降低難度,對于學(xué)生來說比較難。 4. 對話中所出現(xiàn)的語法知識沒有講清楚,在知識上存在空缺。 5. 德育滲透不宜上升的程度太高,要適度。 6. 作為聽說課來說,應(yīng)該以更多的輸入(聽)和更多的輸出(說)為為主,而單選題應(yīng)該比重變少,以免學(xué)生放錯重點(diǎn)。 7. 最后的活動缺乏語境和分組的明顯性問題。只是單純地進(jìn)行念對話和填數(shù)字的問題,而缺少了交際誘因。 8. 板書欠規(guī)范。 在以后的教學(xué)中,我需要在從學(xué)生的角度出發(fā),再次考慮整節(jié)課的連貫性和難度系數(shù)。此外,多進(jìn)行板書練習(xí),并且提高每堂課的教學(xué)效率,45分鐘多一些活動,讓學(xué)生學(xué)有所得。
