(Period 1: Section A 1a – 2d)

教學設計說明
1. 由于本課時要教學序數詞,所以通過漢譯英練習迅速復習
3、基數詞和前幾個單元的一些名詞,加強教學的前后聯(lián)系。
Teaching steps:
1. Warning-up and revision (課堂熱身和復習)
(1)Daily greeting to the students(日常問候)
(2)Revision(復習): Revise the cardinal numbers and some nouns by translating the following phrases.

31個乒乓拍 12條短褲 26個學生 18個毛衣
2. 用年歷引
4、出月份的名稱,通過看圖,簡單明了。由于單詞多,拼寫復雜,所以音標和單詞直接出現,引導學生觀察讀音與拼寫的關聯(lián),反復教讀,讓學生迅速上口。
2. Presentation (呈現新知識)
Present the new words: month, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December

3.由于單詞多,拼讀較難,注意讓學生跟錄音反復朗讀,檢查學生的語音是否正確,及時糾錯。
(Get the Ss to guess what month and year mean. Then, teach the Ss the names of 12 months.)
3. Working on 1a.
(1) Listen and repeat.
4. The Months 這首歌簡單易學,學生們通過唱歌來鞏固這些單詞的讀音是一個很好

(2) Ask some individual Ss to read the new words again. Correct their pronunciations when necessary.

Teach the Ss to sing the song of months.
5. Ordinal Numbers(序數詞)
(1) Present the ordinal numbers from first to twelfth.

5. 序數詞的學習也是本課時的一個重要內容,有了基數詞的學習做基礎,多數序數詞的變化是有規(guī)律的,所以要讓學生們在較短的時間掌握這么多的序數詞,就要讓學生注意總結基數詞與序數詞的變化規(guī)律。
(Repeat the questions and answers for the other months and present the ordinal numbers from second to twelfth.)

6. 聽讀1b的對話是為進一步讓學生模仿對話做準備,所以跟錄音朗讀,模仿錄音中的語音語調很重要。
(1) Students listen and number conversations. Check their answers quickly.
(2) Listen and repeat.
(3) Practice the conversations in pairs.
7. 給學生一個任
9、務:收集小組成員的生日。這樣使句型練習有了交際的目的,對話更有意義。學生能學以致用,也就更有學習興趣。
(4) Practice reading some dates.
7. Group work. (小組活動)
Ask the Ss to ask and answer about their own birthdays. Ask them to collect the birthdays of their group members and fill in the chart.
8. Listening practice. (聽力練習)
(1) Work on 2b. List

(2) Work on 2c. Listen and match the names, months and dates.
8. 2d的對話練習出現了名詞所有格和第三人稱的物主代詞。要提請學生注意,讓學生簡單模仿運用。名詞所有格在后面的課時再作詳細的講解。
(3) Listen and read the conversations after the record.
9. Pair work. (兩人活動)

(1) Talk about the children’s birthday in 2c like the sample in the box.
(2) Ask your partner about the birthdays in his or her family.

2. Look at the chart below and write a conversation between you and Mike like 2d.
