根據(jù)后文“Soon I'll be able to walk out of this desert”可知,旅程一直比較順利。故選A。 be friendly to 意為“對……

根據(jù)前文“Not too bad, at least I have a pear”可知,他在給自己鼓氣加油,因而他相信他能走出去。故選A。

故選A。 故選A。 用as soon as 表示“一…… 故選D。 14

bring sb. to life 表示“使某人活了下來”。

根據(jù)上半句“I could see trees that were 30m tall”可知,they在此處指樹。 由第一段最后一句“But it was…that I came closest to death.”和第二段第二句“I was skiing in the Tetons…” 由第二段第十句“I felt the snow push me fo

、rward, hundreds of metres…” 由第三段最后一句“…I just popped right out of the snow…”和第四段第一句“It took Jeremy and Xavier about…” 由第二段第十一句“It was so heavy that…” 由第三段最后一句“…I just popped right o

、ut of the snow at the bottom of the valley”可知,當(dāng)作者被雪推到谷底的時候他被扔了出來。 C。 Ⅲ.(ⅰ) 20.sometime 21.In my opinion 22.replied 23.though 24.wonders (ⅱ) 25.among 26.off 27.fifth 28.remember 29.born 30.pioneer 31.against 32.down 33.corn 34.kind Ⅳ.[主旨大意] Margaret總是在圣誕節(jié)送她的朋友們賀卡。 35.on 36.their 37.stores 38.the 39.which/that 40.hearing 41.were made 42.more 43.carefully 44.decided 8
