Warm-up: Ask and answer “What’s in our classroom?” “A board, two lights, many desks and chairs…” 2. Presentation: (1) Ask “What’s in our school?” Encourage the students to answer in English or in Chinese. Present the new words: teacher’s office, canteen, playground, library, garden. Ask Where is the library? Help the students to answer: It’s on the first floor. (2) Read the words together. (3) Let’s do. Listen and repeat. Then do actions. 3. Consolidation and extension: (1) Play and guess. Draw a house on the board. Get the students to guess the right positions. (2) Talk about the positions with “Where”. Period 2 1. Warm-up: (1) Revise Let’s do. (2) Read the words on the cards. ( Here Teacher can say “the first card…, the second card…”) 2. Presentation: (1) Freely talk “ Do you like our school? Why do you like our school?” (2) Yes, our school is really nice. Today some friends from America are coming to see our school. Chen Jie is showing them around our school. Let’s watch VCD. (3) Give some questions: How many American friends are there? What do you do in the playground? (4) Read the dialogue and try to act. (5) Let’s play. 3. Consolidation and extension: (1) Read “Let’s talk”. (2) Copy the new words. Period 3 1. Warm-up: (1) Sing the song “Our school”. (2) Act the dialogue in “Let’s talk”. 2. Presentation: (1) Chant B. Read the words: library---read, art room---draw, canteen---eat, gym---play. (2) Make questions: “ Where do you read/ draw/ eat/ play?” Students answer. Go on asking, “ Where do you play computer?” Help the students to answer: In the computer room. Show the Teacher Card and say: This is a computer room. (3) Write the sentence on the board and tell the students how to write sentences correctly. (4) Act out the dialogue. (5) Good to know. Read and think: Can we drink/eat in the computer room? Can we talk loudly in the library? 3. Consolidation and extension: (1).Write the four-skilled words and sentences. (2) Do exercises in Activity Book. Period 4 1. Warm-up: Sing “Our school”. 2. Presentation: (1) Read “Let’s do”. Ask questions: Where do we water the flowers/ read story-books/ have computer classes? Help the students to answer: In the garden/ In the library/ In the computer room. (2) Teach new words: gym, TV room, art room, computer room, washroom, music room. (3) Let’s play. Draw a teaching building on the board. Call a boy or a girl to the board. Teacher says: The washroom is on the second floor. He or she sticks the card at the right place. Put all the cards back in the random order. Ask: Is this/ that he washroom/….? (4) Story time. 3. Consolidation and extension: Write the new words in Copy Book. .. Period 5 1. Warm-up: Chant and sing. 2. Presention: Let’s talk. (1) Watch VCD. Then ask some questions: Is this/ that the …? Where is the art room? (2) Listen and repeat the dialogue. (3) Read the dialogue in roles. (4) Design a future school. Then talk about in pairs, then in front of the class. (5) Let’s check. 3. Consolidation and extension: Read the dialogue some times. Period 6 1. Warm-up: Sing “ Our school”. 2. Preview: Point to the objects in the classroom, and get the students to say: This is a computer/ board/ teacher’s desk. This is the floor. That is a window/ door/ picture. That is the wall. Write the sentences on the board. 3. Presentation: Read and write. (1) Watch the picture carefully. Then fill in the blanks on the Board ( Teacher points to the things in the picture.). Is this a ? Yes, it is. Is this a TV? No, it’s a . Is that a ? No, it’s a map. (2) Make differences between the two groups of sentences on the board in grammar and writing. (3) Pronunciation for the letter “a”. 4. Listen and repeat. 2. Sing. 教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備 Pictures and tape. 教 學(xué) 過(guò) 程 Warmer 1. Review the alphabet. First sing the Alphabet Song. 2. Then practice the alphabet around the class. Point to a child. He/She says the first letter. Then point to another child. He/She says the next letter,etc. Speed up the activity as much as you can. Ask any child who makes a mistake to stand up. They can then sit down the next time they are able to answer correctly. Activity 1. Listen and repeat. 1. This activity reinforces and practices the correct pronunciation of the new vocabulary. 2. Play the cassette or say each word. The children point to the corresponding picture. 3. Point to the pictures randomly. Say the word. The class repeats. 4. Ask individuals to say the words. Correct any pronunciation mistakes. 5. In pairs, the children take turns to point to the pictures and say the words. 教 學(xué) 過(guò) 程 Activity 2. Listen and sing. 1. This is a traditional son about a rainy day. The meaning is rather silly but the idea is fun for children and is very popular among English children. 2. Draw the children’s attention to the picture in their Pupil’s Book. Point to the man in the first picture and ask some questions. Teach the word ‘snoring’. It is best to do this by making a snoring noise yourself and asking the class the questions on the board and ask the class to repeat it. 3. Now point to the second picture and elicit in Chinese that the man has buped his head and can’t get up. Teach the word ‘bump’ by miming bumping your head. Ask the class to repeat and write the word on the board. 4. Play the cassette. The children listen to the song. 5. Ensure that the children understand the meaning of the song. 6. Teach the children the song line by line. 7. Repeat the song 2 or 3 times. Encourage the children to make appropriate movements as they sing. Activity Book. It’s a T-shirt, a yellow T-shirt.” Teach the words shirt, brown jacket blue dress eg in the same way. 2、Notice the sentence: I like the white sweater with the green skirt. Understand and use the word: “with”. 3、Listen to the tape and read after it twice. Compare the pronunciation “shirt” and “skirt”. 4、Play a game: the students point to the card and say: ILike the white jacket …I like the ….See who speak it fluently. 5、Practise in groups,draw and colour my favourite clothes . Encourage the students to use the phase from the text. For Example: I have a skirt…It’s white. 6、Listen to the tape of “Let’s do” then read after it. 7、Teacher says English , the children do actions. Have a match between the boys and the girls. See who do it better. Step three: Consolidation and extension. 1、Do exercises in Activity Book. 2、Try to let your classmates. Is that your T-shirt?” Write the sentence on the board then guide. 3、After listening to the tape and ask some quesentations .eg (1) Where ‘s the Alice’s skirt?What colour is it? (2) Where’s her father’s shirt? (3) Whose is it? 4、Read and act it out. 5、Play a game draw personal clothes by himself and put it on the blackboard, pointing the students “Is this your shoes? Is this …?Answered in turn. 6、Practise in pairs. Ask “Is this your …?”Answer: ”Yes ,it is/No, it’s not.” 7、Listen to the tape for Read and write. Then teach the children how to write sentences. What colour are your shoes/socks/pants? Teacher tell the usage of “is”and”are” 3、Listen to the tape and read after it. 4、Play a game design the clothes you like (on the board ) suppose you’re going for trip .What do you went to wear Choose and say it… 5、Play a guessing game. 6、Recite the sentence “Is this your T-shirt?” “No,it isn’t.” Step three: Consolidation and extension 1、Do exercise in Activity Book . 2、Write the words :red、 blue、yellow、green、brown、white. 3、Listen and chant. 第四課時(shí) Step oneWarm –up 1、Let’s chant 2、Sing English song Step two : Presentation 1、Teacher point to the shoes and say: My shoes are brown , what about you? Help students to describe the shoes . 2、Teacher show a doll and make a dialogue with students like this: T: Look,what colour are the shoes? Ss: They are black. T: Are they new? Ss: No, they aren’t. Ss: These are pants. 2、Teach the word”those”in same way. 3、Ss use Let’s find out on page 32,or use the cards around the classroom, ask and answer in pairs. 4、Teach the dialogue. (1) Show a pair of baby shoes. T: Look at these, what are they ? Ss: They are baby shoes. T: Who’s are these baby shoes? Can you guess? Help students guess. (2)Draw a picture of house to teach the words“neighbour” (3)Get students show their baby clothes and say:”I have a baby clothes” 5、Put on the wall picture, play the tape. Students listen carefully and try to catch what the dialogue is. 6、Play the tape for the second time, Ss try to repeat. 7、Roal play.
