111 2012高二英語教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)Unit5 Traveling abroad：Period 1 Warming Up and Reading Task（新人教版選修7） 教材分析和教材重組　　　　　 本單元的中心話題是“出國旅游”，課文始終圍繞這一主題展開。旨在通過單元教學(xué)，使學(xué)生了解在國外旅行或?qū)W習(xí)時可能會遇到的一些問題，并學(xué)會怎樣去解決問題。要求學(xué)生學(xué)會表達(dá)和支持個人觀點(diǎn)，能用所學(xué)的有關(guān)出國旅游的詞匯描述在國外居住生活的情況，在國外旅游時能根據(jù)所給的信息選擇恰當(dāng)?shù)穆糜尉€路。語法方面要求學(xué)生會正確使用非限制性定語從句。 課時一：Warming Up and Reading Task “熱身”(Warming Up)部分設(shè)計(jì)了四個討論題目，幫助學(xué)生在大腦中形成有關(guān)國外旅游的信息，讓學(xué)生討論在國外旅行會遇到什么問題，并且討論該如何來解決這些問題。這樣就自然過渡到Reading Task (Page 82)——四個年輕人在國外旅游遇到問題的經(jīng)歷。 課時二：Reading “讀前”(Pre－reading)部分設(shè)計(jì)了兩個問題，第一個問題要求采用與同學(xué)討論交流的方式談?wù)撛趪鈱W(xué)習(xí)的利與弊，激發(fā)同學(xué)們的學(xué)習(xí)興趣；第二個問題要求學(xué)生預(yù)測閱讀課文中的主人公在英國學(xué)習(xí)可能遇到的困難和英國學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)與中國學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)的不同。 “閱讀”(Reading)部分介紹了主人公謝蕾第一次去國外求學(xué)進(jìn)預(yù)科班時所面臨的問題，以及房東和導(dǎo)師對她的幫助，要求學(xué)生明白國外學(xué)習(xí)的利與弊，培養(yǎng)正視困難、迎接挑戰(zhàn)的信心。 課時三：Grammar (語法復(fù)習(xí)課) 本單元的語法重點(diǎn)是復(fù)習(xí)非限制性定語從句(Non－restrictive Attributive Clause)。學(xué)生已經(jīng)學(xué)過這個語法點(diǎn)，所以在這節(jié)課中，首先對非限制性定語從句的特征、關(guān)系詞做一個簡要回顧，然后通過多種形式的練習(xí)，如填寫關(guān)系詞、造句和改錯等，使學(xué)生逐步掌握非限制性定語從句的用法。這些教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)，如開始部分的欣賞范文、找出好句的活動和結(jié)束部分的寫作練習(xí)，都充分體現(xiàn)了在語境中學(xué)習(xí)語法、在語境中運(yùn)用語法的教學(xué)原則。 課時四：Listening(聽力課) 這節(jié)聽力課把Using Language中的Listening和Workbook中的Listening Task整合到一起，訓(xùn)練學(xué)生在聽力前預(yù)測及在聽的過程中注意細(xì)節(jié)信息的能力。 課時五：Using Language：Reading and Speaking(綜合運(yùn)用課)這節(jié)語言綜合運(yùn)用課把本單元的第二篇文章和口語練習(xí)組合到一起。文章“秘魯旅游” 和地圖的呈現(xiàn)，有利于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的觀察能力與實(shí)踐能力；要求學(xué)生針對旅游路線挑選自己喜歡的路線進(jìn)行介紹和推薦，這聯(lián)系了生活實(shí)踐，題目新穎，具有開放性。課后的寫作練習(xí)既涉及該話題，又強(qiáng)調(diào)語言的實(shí)用性和交際性。 Period 1　Warming Up and Reading Task 設(shè)計(jì)者　楊亞萍 Teaching goals　　　　　 Talk about travelling or living in another country. Teaching procedures　　　　　 Step 1　Warming up Show the beautiful scenery of other countries to attract students' attention，including Taj Mahal，the pyramids of Egypt，London Bridge，Sydney Opera House，Eiffel Tower，Statue of Liberty，Stonehenge，New Zealand，South America，etc. Questions： 1．Are you eager to travel abroad to enjoy the beautiful scenery by yourself? 2．If you could go anywhere in the world，which country would you like to visit and why? Suggested answers： Sa：If I had chance to travel abroad，I'd like to visit Singapore.It's said to be a beautiful country，and I'd like to enjoy the beautiful scenery in Singapore. Sb：If I had chance，I'd like to go to America.Maybe it is better if I could work or study there，then I could learn English well. Sc：I'd like to go to Egypt，because I want to know about the pyramids. [設(shè)計(jì)說明] 課堂以欣賞國外優(yōu)美的風(fēng)光開始，在給學(xué)生以極大的視覺享受的同時，激起他們對于出國旅行的向往，至于最想去的國家或地方更能讓他們有話可說。接著就自然地把話題引到出國旅行的好處和可能遇到的問題方面。 Questions： What kind of things would you learn best by being a tourist in a country and what would you learn best by working or studying there? Suggested answers： Sa：When we travel to another country，maybe we could know about the architecture of the country，the beautiful scenery，the economic situation and so on. Sb：When we work or study in the country，maybe we could know more about the manners and customs of the country.We could learn the standard English better；we could communicate with the local people to improve our English. Sc：If we could live with the local people，we could know the proprieties of the country，know more slang，know the difference in time，food，transportation，etc.between the two countries. T：Travelling abroad is a wonderful experience.But travelling abroad is not an easy thing.What dangers and problems could happen while travelling in a foreign country? Sa：While travelling，it's possible that we could lose our way，because we don't know the country very well. Sb：It's possible that we could have difficulty in communicating with the local people. He should have asked what the cards they were handing out were for. Sally She was stopped at the customs because she was carrying drugs without a doctor's prescription. She should have left the pills in their original bottle which had the name of her doctor on it.To be even safer，she could have asked her doctor for a letter which explained that she had to take the pills for her health condition. Paul He had an accident in an isolated place and couldn't walk.
