The general part is a new design of Xuchang mine which designed productive capacity is 3.0 Mt percent year. Xuchang mine lines in north-east of Jining , Shandong province. The traffic of road and railway is convenience to the mine. The width of the minefield is 4 km and the width is about 8 km, the well farmland total area is 32.3km2.The three is the main coal seam, and its average dip angle is 10 degree. The thickness of the mine is about 8.8 m in all. The proved reserves of the minefield are 357.33 Mt. The recoverable reserves are 262.4 Mt. The service life of the mine is 62.5 years. The normal flow of the mine is 1387 m3 percent hour and the max flow of the mine is 1928 m3 percent hour. The mine gas emission rate is 0.49 m3/t which can be recognized as low gas mine.
