Unit7 a Visit to a Middle School Part A 教學(xué)目標 一、語言知識目標 1.學(xué)習(xí)詞匯:study,physics,lab,middle school。 2.學(xué)習(xí)句型:Where are the…? They are on the …. 3.學(xué)習(xí)字母組合al,au,aw,or,oor在單詞中的讀音。 4.功能:中學(xué)學(xué)校信息。 二、語言技能目標 1.能正確使用序數(shù)詞。 2.能用英語說出學(xué)校各種教室的名稱。 3.能用所學(xué)語言描述學(xué)校各種教室所在樓層。 三、情感態(tài)度 幫助學(xué)生初步了解中學(xué)環(huán)境的基本情況,激發(fā)學(xué)生對新學(xué)校的好奇心,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。 二、教具準備 1.單詞卡片: (1)本課新單詞卡片。 (2)基數(shù)詞的單詞卡片。 (3)序數(shù)詞的單詞卡片。 2.學(xué)校中各種教室的圖片。 3.本課課文掛圖。 4.錄音機或多媒體教學(xué)光盤。 教學(xué)過程 Step 1. Warming up 1. Greeting T: Good afternoon, boys and girls. Ss: Good afternoon, Miss Lv. 2. Revision T:Can you count from one to ten? Ss: one, two, three…ten. T: One is the first number. Two is the? number …(引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說出1到10的序數(shù)詞) T: 像one, two, three, four這樣表示數(shù)目的詞叫做基數(shù)詞,first, second, third這樣的詞叫做序數(shù)詞。 Step2. Lead in (free talk) T: What will you do in September? Ss: We’ll go to the middle school. (若學(xué)生是其他回答,則引導(dǎo)In September you will be a middle school student, so you will go to middle school.) T: Let’s go to visit a middle school. (板書:Unit 7 a Visit to a Middle School Part A) . Look at the screen; let’s see some middle schools in Jian Yang. Pay attention to the first letters. 學(xué)校的校名每個單詞的首字母都要大寫 Step3.Presentation T: Yang Ming and his classmates will be middle school students, too. So they will visit a middle school. Ms. Brown will show them around the school. Now open your book and turn to page 50. Read after the record. T: Look at the first paragraph. Welcome to Sunlight Middle School.歡迎來到中國怎么說?歡迎來到北京呢?Underline the Sunlight Middle School. I’m Alice Brown. I’ll show you around our school. Show sb. around 帶某人參觀。 (activity引導(dǎo)學(xué)生模仿第一段內(nèi)容說句子,如: I’m…. Welcome to our school. I’ll show you around our school. I’m…. Welcome to our museum. I’ll show you around our museum.) T:Read the second paragraph by yourself, and I’ll ask some Ss to answer the questions. (Where is the school library and where are teachers’ offices?) Pick up some Ss to answer. T: Where is the school library? Ss: The school library is on the first floor. T: How do you know? (Very good. Look at the second line of paragraph two, our school library is on the first floor. Underline this sentence. ) T: In our school, where is the library? Ss: It’s on the fourth floor. T: Where are teachers’ offices? Ss: Teachers’ offices are on the second floor. (是否需要復(fù)習(xí)which floor do you live on? ) (二)再讀課文,學(xué)習(xí)單詞physics,lab,study和teachers’ office 1.教師出示課文的第二幅掛圖說:“This is the classroom building of Sunlight Middle School.Which rooms are they talking about? Where are the rooms?” 2.請學(xué)生帶著問題自讀課文,然后根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容完成下列表格: Room Floor School Library on the first floor Teachers’ Offices on the second floor Labs on the ninth floor 3.教學(xué)詞組:teachers’ office。 (1)出示單詞officer來教學(xué)單詞office和offices。 (2)出示Teachers’ Day和teachers’ office,請學(xué)生讀一讀,然后復(fù)習(xí)名詞所有格的表達方法,并拓展操練,如:the teachers’ offices,the police offices等。 T: We’ll study physics at middle school. 4.教學(xué)單詞:physics,lab和study。 (1)教師出示圖片和卡片教學(xué)lab,并出示學(xué)??茖W(xué)實驗室的圖片,請學(xué)生嘗試說一說science lab。 (2)教師出示物理實驗室的圖片,告訴學(xué)生:“This is a physics lab.We will study physics at middle school.”教師在黑板上板書study physics和physics lab,并教學(xué)。 5.請學(xué)生看表格說句子: Our school library is on the first floor. Our teachers’ offices are on the second floor. Our physics labs are on the ninth floor. (三)熟讀課文 1.請學(xué)生看課本第50頁,教師播放課文錄音或多媒體教學(xué)光盤二至三遍,學(xué)生模仿跟讀。 2.給學(xué)生一些時間,熟讀課文內(nèi)容,遇到疑難處可向同學(xué)或老師請教。 3.請幾位學(xué)生站起來示范讀對話。 (四)鞏固練習(xí) 1.完成課本第54頁的Learn to write.部分。 (1)學(xué)生獨自完成練習(xí),教師巡視指導(dǎo)和幫助學(xué)生。 (2)請三名學(xué)生在黑板上寫出答案,全班學(xué)生核對。 (五)語音學(xué)習(xí) 1.學(xué)生翻開課本第51頁,教師播放Listen and learn the English sounds.部分的錄音,學(xué)生模仿跟讀二至三遍。 2.教師請學(xué)生自己讀一讀這十個單詞,仔細體會這些單詞中紅色字體的字母組合的發(fā)音,然后請幾位學(xué)生說一說。 3.請同學(xué)們一起努力,找出更多和表中所列出的單詞有相同讀音規(guī)則的單詞。如: al: ball,wall,small au: autumn or: sport,morning Step 4 Extension 綜合活動:“小小迎賓員”。 1.完成課本第51頁的Ask and answer.部分。 (1)教師出示表格中所有教室的詞組卡片,先請學(xué)生讀一讀,然后將卡片按順序發(fā)給學(xué)生,如:第一組第一桌的兩個學(xué)生拿Reading-rooms的卡片,第二桌的兩個學(xué)生拿Teachers’ Offices的卡片,以此類推。 (2)教師播放錄音,全班學(xué)生模仿跟讀。 (3)全班學(xué)生練習(xí),如:一位學(xué)生隨機提出問題:“Where are the classrooms for Grade 8?”第四桌持有Classrooms for Grade 8卡片的兩個學(xué)生就要立即起立說:“They are on the fourth floor.” 2.“小小迎賓員”活動。 (1)教師先示范如下: I’m a teacher of No.1 Middle School. Welcome to our school. I’ll show you around our school. Look.These are our reading-rooms.(指著第一桌學(xué)生的卡片)They are on the first floor. This is my office.(指著第二桌學(xué)生的卡片)It’s on the second floor. The science labs are on the ninth floor. … (2)請學(xué)生四人一小組,先給自己要介紹的中學(xué)取個校名,然后準備“小小迎賓員”要說的話。 (3)推舉一位學(xué)生當“小小迎賓員”,帶著小組內(nèi)的其余三位學(xué)生開始表演活動。 Step 5 Homework 1.聽錄音,熟讀本課內(nèi)容。 2.完成《活動手冊》中本課的練習(xí)。 3.查詢初中所有的學(xué)習(xí)科目和初中與小學(xué)不同的教室,借助網(wǎng)絡(luò)資源,將它們用英語寫出來。- 1.請仔細閱讀文檔,確保文檔完整性,對于不預(yù)覽、不比對內(nèi)容而直接下載帶來的問題本站不予受理。
