Module 5 Unit 1 Lingling is skipping I. Teaching contents: Unit 1 in module 5 II. Teaching aims: 1. Learn to read the new phrases in module 5. 2. Learn to read the new sentences in unit 1. 3. Try to perform the dialogue in pairs. III. Important and difficult points: The kids can read the new words and phrases well. The kids can read the new sentences correctly. The kids can perform the dialogue well. IV. Preparations: Pictures, cards and media V. Teaching time: 40 minutes VI. Teaching steps and methods: i. Organizations: Greetings Let’s count the numbers from 0 to 50. Let’s recite the chant in module 4. ii. Revision: T takes out the cards and then the kids try to read them out one by one: watch TV sing a song dance read a book go to school play basketball play football listen to music play with a train drink eat draw a picture talk to you… Ask and answer: What are you doing? Have a rest: Sing a song together. iii.
