Teaching difficulties: The ability to grasp important and useful information through reading Teaching methods: Task-based method, co-operating learning Teaching aids: Multi-media，textbook Teaching time: 40 minutes Teaching procedures: Step 1 lead-in Aim : to draw students attention to the topic Method: show some funny pictures and talk about the students’ favorite edies and edians. Step 2 1st Reading (skim reading to get the general idea) Aim : to get the general idea Methods: 1. teach the reading strategies 2. get students to read the passage quickly and summarize the main idea .
