Step 2 Review 1. Have a dictation of the new words and expressions. 2. Review the main phrases and sentences. 1) 屬于 belong to 2) 最喜愛的作家 favorite writer 3) 怎么啦? Then talk with a partner about your inferences and reasons. 3. Let students tell out their answers. Step 4 Writing Work on 3b 1. Tell students what they should do. Look at this newspaper headline and finish the article about the strange happenings. No More Mystery in the Neighborhood Last week, in a quiet neighborhood, something strange happened... We now know what was happening in the neighborhood... Now the mystery is solved. People in the neighborhood... Work on Self Check 2 1. Tell students to write sentences for the things below. They should write sentences by using the chart. 2.
