Unit 7 How much are these socks? 一、單元教材分析 本單元以談論服裝為主題,通過介紹服裝,學習一些常用的服裝名詞;能掌握“詢問價格和顏色”的句型:How much is this T-shirt? It’s seven dollar.How much are these socks? They are two dollars.What color is it? It is red.What color are they? Here you are. 2. socks是sock的復數(shù)形式。成雙成對的物品常以復數(shù)形式出現(xiàn)。 此類詞作主語時,謂語動詞用復數(shù)形式;但與a pair of …(一雙、一對或一副)連用作主語時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式。如: 我的鞋在床下了。 那條短褲子是杰克的。 My shoes are under the bed. That pair of shorts is Jack’s. 3. Can I help you? 這句話是商店、飯店等場所的服務人員主動詢問顧客需要的常用表達,意為“您想買點什么嗎?”或“您想吃點什么嗎?”等。 如果顧客需要,可以回答Yes, please. I want ...;如果顧客不需要,可以回答No, thanks.如: —Can I help you, madam? —Yes, please. I want a bag. / No, thanks. Can I help you?也可用來主動詢問對方是否需要幫助,意為“需要幫忙嗎?”。如: —Can I help you, Mary? —No, thanks. I can do it by myself (自己). 【拓展】 在英語中,服務人員的日常用語還有May I help you? / What can I do for you? / Is there anything I can do for you?等。 【運用】將下列對話翻譯成漢語。 1) —Can I help you? —Yes, please. It looks nice. 與That sounds good. 屬同一結構,look表示“看起來,看上去”, 后接形容詞。如: 那個人看上去年長,但他沒那么大年齡。 That man _____ old, but he’s not that old. 這雙鞋穿你腳上真好看。 These shoes ____ nice on you. 6. Two dollars for one pair and three dollars for two pairs. 1) for用來表示物品的價格,價格 + for + 具體物品。如: 這本書30元。 It’s 30 yuan for this book. 2) pair “雙,對,副,套”,常與of 搭配,表褲子,鞋襪,手套,眼鏡等由兩個相同部分組成的物品的量。如: a pair of trousers/ shorts two pairs of soccer shoes 7. I’ll take it. 該句意為“我買下了”。句中take意為“買下”,相當于buy / get。在口語中,顧客選好商品并決定購買時,通常說I’ll take it / them.而不說I’ll buy it / them.如: The bag is very cheap (便宜的). Language points 1. 基數(shù)詞表達 1) one到twelve,拼寫和讀音無規(guī)律。 2) thirteen到nineteen,“十幾”,在個位數(shù)后加后綴-teen,注意thirteen, fifteen和eighteen。 3) twenty到ninety,“幾十”,以ty結尾,注意twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, eighty。 4) 21~29直到91~99,“幾十幾”, 用整十位數(shù)加個位表示, 中間用連字符“-” 把十位和個位連接起來。 5) one hundred “一百”,也可說 a hundred, 可加具體數(shù)字,如nine hundred (900)。 2. 基數(shù)詞用法 基數(shù)詞只能修飾可數(shù)名詞,要注意數(shù)詞和名詞在數(shù)上要保持一致。如: 一名學生;兩名男孩;二十個蘋果;三十三個雞蛋 one student; two boys; twenty apples; thirty-three eggs 3. e and buy your clothes at our great sale! buy v. 買 buy sb. sth./ buy sth. for sb. 給某人買某物 e.g. 我們給媽媽買件新毛衣吧。 Let’s buy mom a new sweater. = Let’s buy a new sweater for mom. clothes指身上穿的各種服裝,包括上衣,內(nèi)衣,褲子等,是衣服的總稱。不能直接與數(shù)詞連用,但可與some, many, these或those等連用。 e.g. 看!那邊的衣服大減價了。 Look! Some clothes are on sale over there. sale 名詞,on sale “出售;廉價出售”,同義短語at a great sale。 e.g. 今天這家商店的毛衣大減價了。 The sweaters in the store are on sale today. 4. We sell all our clothes at very good prices. all與定冠詞、指示代詞、形容詞性物、主代詞等限定詞連用時,all應放于這些詞之前。如: 所有這些學生;她所有的衣服;所有那些房- 配套講稿:
