The first time I met Tom, he seemed to be allergic to everyone. 【導(dǎo)學(xué)】the first time 在這里作連詞,引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句,意思:第一次 在英語(yǔ)中有些表時(shí)間的短語(yǔ)做連詞引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句,如 each time, every time , the first/last time, the moment, the minute, the day, the year, next time, by the time等。 【練習(xí)】漢譯英: 1.我第一次看見他時(shí),就喜歡上他了。_________________________ 2.他每次來(lái)焦作,總是來(lái)看我。____________________________ 3.他被送到醫(yī)院時(shí),幾乎快不行了。__________________________ 4.我上次見他時(shí),他好多了。________________________________ 2. If necessary, look them up in a dictionary. 【導(dǎo)學(xué)】if necessary 是省略句式,全句為:if it is necessary 【拓展】在when ,while, until, unless, if, once(一旦) 等引導(dǎo)的狀語(yǔ)從句中,如果從句的主語(yǔ)和主句的主語(yǔ)相同且從句的謂語(yǔ)部分含動(dòng)詞be時(shí),或從句的主謂為it is時(shí),可以省略從句的主語(yǔ)和動(dòng)詞be. 【練習(xí)】漢譯英,用省略句式: 1. 如果有可能的話,盡自己最大的努力,獨(dú)立去做吧! __________________________________________________________ 2. 當(dāng)我還是孩子時(shí),我就會(huì)背3000首詩(shī)了。 __________________________________________________________ Step 2: 整體理解把握課文。 Fast- reading (B級(jí)) The main characters in the story are _____ and ______.
