Self- introduction 1. Wave hands to the children, and say hello to them: Hello, I’m Miss 。。。. II. Presentation 1. Wave cheerfully saying: Hello! Hi! 2. Ask the pupils to respond with hello or hi. 3. Greet the pupils with Good morning. Ask them to respond by echoing me. III. Practice 1. Play the CAI. Ask the pupils to listen and repeat. 2. Point to the speech bubbles and read after the tape. 3. Ask the pupils to greet with their partners. Then ask some pairs to come to the front and show it all the class. 4. Play a train game: Say hello/ hi/ good morning to the one behind him/her. The fastest group is the winner. 5. Show the masks of Koko and other animals, like dog, cat, and monkey and so on.
